The Browns have signed quarterback Joe Flacco.
Dynasty Analysis
The veteran quarterback found great success in his first stint with Cleveland, throwing for 1,616 yards, with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in relief of Deshaun Watson back in 2023. His signing is an interesting one as the Browns currently have Kenny Pickett as their de facto starter and seem to be leaning away from the quarterback position in round one of the upcoming draft. Flacco could simply be veteran depth or have a legitimate shot at being the starter this season, This whole story will be worked out after the NFL Draft in a couple of weeks.

Dynasty Analysis
And yet again, a team goes whacko for Flacco. With Anthony Richardson failing (and yes, flailing) as a starter, Indianapolis is going to attempt to salvage their year with the grizzled veteran. We've seen this story before - Flacco has been solid in relief time and time again as he reaches the end of the line. He was borderline brilliant earlier this season, posting 716 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception on four games with Indianapolis so far this season, so he still has juice left in the tank. Flacco should be no worse than a short-term QB2 the rest of the way, though his dynasty candle has long since melted.
