This seems like a solid plan for the Vikings should they pursue it. Tannehill spent last season out of football, but has always said he'd come back in the right situation. Minnesota could be just that seeing that they have a roster full of playmakers and need someone to possibly keep the seat warm for a recovering JJ McCarthy. There's nothing imminent here, so Tannehill doesn't need to be added from waivers. However, he'd be a little intriguing should he actually sign with the Vikings.
