The Cowboys have signed running back Miles Sanders.
Dynasty Analysis
Dallas has been the most popular mock draft landing spot for running backs like Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton, but have now signed both Sanders and Javonte Williams this off-season. While this may not necessarily take them out of the running for one of those premier running backs in the upcoming draft, it could also set them up to have one of the most uninspiring backfields in the league if they stand pat. Sanders was a free agent disaster for Carolina, eventually losing his job to Chuba Hubbard. However, this landing spot puts him at least back on the radar for the moment.

The Panthers have released running back Miles Sanders.
Dynasty Analysis
The fact Sanders has been released with Jonathon Brooks our for the foreseeable future is pretty telling. He ended up being a bust of a signing as he posted just over 600 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 27 games over two years with the Panthers. Chuba Hubbard took his job and simply performed better. Now 27, Sanders is going to have to settle for backup job somewhere, but his game tape over the past two seasons isn't very impressive. He may actually find it difficult to land a roster spot. At this point, he's waiver wire material in dynasty leagues.
Carolina running back Miles Sanders was carted off the field in the Panthers early morning game in Germany.
Dynasty Analysis
Sanders appears to have a left leg or ankle injury that was significant enough to keep him down on the field for some time before leaving on the cart. This has the looks of a significant injury. It would be the end of another terribly disappointing season for Sanders, who has played sparingly behind Chuba Hubbard despite Jonathon Brooks still not taking a snap this season. Sanders is on a lot of waiver wires already and this would be multiplied should this be a serious ailment.
