Former Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton has signed with the Chiefs.
Dynasty Analysis
The Pats used a second round pick on Thornton in 2022 but he produced just 39 catches for 385 yards and two touchdowns over 28 games and three seasons. He's unlikely to do much with the Chiefs and has little dynasty value, but he's still worthy of being on watch lists at the moment.

The Chiefs are signing wide receiver Tyquan Thornton.
Dynasty Analysis
It used to be a little more exciting when any free agent signed with Kansas City, but the team's offense has changed dramatically, making it much different now. Thornton will try to stick with the club as a depth piece and clearly has the talent to do so. However, Thornton failed to live up to his second round draft stock in New England and his dynasty value is near zero. He could be worth a speculative add, but you'd need some clear roster space to take the plunge on him.
The Patriots have waived wide receiver Tyquan Thornton.
Dynasty Analysis
The former second round pick looks like a classic case of a workout wonder gone wrong. Thornton has the speed and genetic makeup to compete in the NFL, but he just never got it together, despite being a second round pick in 2022. In 28 total games, he has just 39 catches for 385 yards and two touchdowns, including a 4/47/0 line this season. Thornton could re-emerge somewhere, but he doesn't belong on dynasty rosters at the moment.
