The Rams are reportedly planning on trading wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
Dynasty Analysis
Kupp wants to stay, but the Rams are ready to move on. Kupp struggled with injuries again last year en route to 67 catches for 710 yards and six touchdowns, ceding WR1 duties to Puka Nacua in the process. Now 31, those nagging injuries may have caught up to him. Now three years removed from his last 1,000 yard season (a 1,947 yard monster in 2021), Kupp will look to join a contender with the Ravens, Commanders and Chiefs all being mentioned already. We'll see where he lands, but Kupp's days as a true WR1 are likely over.

The Seahawks have signed wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
Dynasty Analysis
This always seemed to be the most likely outcome, but now it's official. The Rams paid Davante Adams around $14 million to replace him this season, so they clearly feel his best days are over. The Seahawks disagreed as they are going to give him $45 million over a three-year span. That contract is similar to those of Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, not Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb, so it seems palatable for Seattle. Kupp will start opposite Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but both of those players seem more effective out of the slot, so we'll need to see just how things play out. Regardless, Kupp has a home, has been paid handsomely, and is expected to produce big numbers. Dynasty managers will take it. He projects more as a WR2 than a WR1 moving forward, but this was about as good a result as you could hope for.
The Rams have released wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
Dynasty Analysis
The longtime Ram will officially enter the open market unless Los Angeles finds a last second trade partner. That seems unlikely as Kupp has clearly been trade bait for a month. He'll end his Rams tenure with a whopping 634 catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. Now three years removed from his 145/1,947/16 miracle season, Kupp has battled injuries and is likely no longer a WR1 in dynasty leagues. However, a good landing spot like New England or Seattle could change things for the better. Stay tuned.
The Rams have informed Cooper Kupp he will be released should they fail to find a trade partner.
Dynasty Analysis
Well, that will make it official. Kupp is 31 years old and has dealt with some injuries over the past few years. However, this is also a player with 634 career catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. While his magical 145/1,947/16 season was three years ago, it's hard to look at Kupp and think he's totally washed up. We'll see soon enough, but the writing was on the wall when the Rams signed Davante Adams yesterday. Kupp should find a home in the coming days and we'll re-evaluate his dynasty value when that happens.
Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp had five catches for 61 yards in the Rams playoff loss to the Eagles.
Dynasty Analysis
Firmly supplanted as the Rams top option by Puka Nacua, it's fair to wonder just what his future holds at this point. Kupp may finally be showing his age at this point and he's under contract for a lot of money moving forward. While the cap hit for cutting him would possibly be too much to endure, it's a possibility moving forward. Kupp's dynasty value is sinking fairly rapidly at this point and he may indeed need a new home.
Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp had one catch for 29 yards in a win over the Cardinals.
Dynasty Analysis
Kupp had three targets, while Puka Nacua had 14. This has been a theme over the past month as it seems the Rams are content just peppering Nacua with footballs and essentially using Kupp as a blocker and a decoy. This has been a disaster of an end to the season for Kupp who now has just four catches on nine targets for 53 scoreless yards over his last three games. His dynasty ADP is going to sink this off-season.
