Christian kirk - 4yr/$84m
The biggest signing of Day 1 and it wasn’t even close. The Jaguars had a need at receiver and money burning a hole in their pocket, so they decided to spend it on Christian Kirk. While we can debate how worthy Kirk is of being the 3rd highest paid receiver in the league with zero 1,000-yard seasons, the the deal is done. The draft may change things, but as of right now, Kirk is the Jaguars WR1, and with that hopefully comes a target share that he has never seen before. He has shown that he can be a reliable fantasy option when targeted and the WR27 in 2021 could have his best season yet in 2022. Additionally, this is certainly a win for Trevor Lawrence with a more legitimate weapon to throw to.
