2025 Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update: Bhayshul Tuten

The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market.
Name: Bhayshul Tuten
Position: Running Back
Pro Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
College Team: Virginia Tech
Draft Status: Round 4; Pick 104
Tuten was born in Paulsboro, NJ, a suburb of Philadelphia. He was a four-year varsity football player at Paulsboro High, playing running back, cornerback and returner. A thumb injury, ankle injury and the COVID-19 pandemic impacted his production throughout high school, so he didn’t receive any FBS offers. After two productive seasons at HBCU North Carolina A&T, he entered the transfer portal. After originally committing to Boston College, he flipped his commitment to Virginia Tech.
He led the Hokies in rushing both seasons he was in Blacksburg, but 2024 was his true breakout. In 11 games, he ran for 1,159 yards and 15 touchdowns, 6.33 yards per carry. He’s an explosive runner with a sprinter’s speed. He’s also great at accumulating yards after contact, averaging 4.4 yards after contact per carry in 2024.
After two seasons at Virginia Tech, he skipped their bowl game and declared for the NFL Draft. He attended the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine during the pre-draft process. He ran an elite forty-yard dash, coming in at 4.32 seconds. He had a chance to get into day two, but he went in the fourth round to the Jaguars.
