Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams has been placed on the PUP list.
Read moreWith the 2025 NFL Draft now over, we can accurately re-assess the depth charts of teams around the NFL. In this series, we’ll be taking a look at players who either gained or lost value based on what their team did during the draft.
The Cardinals' draft class saw them draft only one offensive player, an offensive lineman in the sixth round. Their needs were absolutely more on the defensive side of the ball, but it meant that winners on the offensive side of the ball were more due to lack of additions.
In 2024, Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr were the clear top pass catchers on the Cardinals, but there’s a clear hole for the third receiver on the team. Last year, Wilson saw the third highest target share on the team, even if that only translated to 548 yards and four touchdowns. Without any significant additions (or any additions at all for that matter), Wilson currently stands to be the third target for an offense with a real chance to ascend. He may be a “better in best ball” pick, but any injury to MHJ could see Wilson have a solid role in this offense.
