You have to love the dynasty fantasy football community. As soon as the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, we immediately start looking ahead to the 2026 draft. That’s for good reason as well. Often, the 2025 rookie draft is the first opportunity a team has to start moving their 2026 rookie draft picks! You need to have at least an idea of what you’re trading away when you’re considering moving that 2026 first to try to gain a 2025 first.
2025 was the year of the running back, while quarterback and wide receiver suffered. Currently, on Mock Draft Database, next year’s first round is expected to be loaded with quarterbacks, and there are nine wide receivers ranked in the top 50. This fact has already impacted my personal rookie drafts. In a one-quarterback league where I need a long-term backup behind Lamar Jackson, I decided to skip taking Cam Ward at the end of the first round, knowing that next year’s class will have much better options at the position.
This is a mock superflex draft for the 2026 season. This is obviously a projection, as so much can change over the course of the next season. A year ago, we didn’t know that Ashton Jeanty was going to be the consensus number one pick. Cam Ward was barely on the fantasy radar after transferring from Washington State. Some of these players will decide to go back to school after the 2025 season, and may not even be an option. Without further ado, here’s a superflex draft for the 2026 season.
Manning has been locked into this 1.01 pick since high school. Even though he’s been stuck behind Quinn Ewers for two years, and has only thrown 95 passes, Manning has to be considered the top pick in this mock draft a year out. Will he declare after this season? I’m not so sure that he will.
If he does enter the draft next year, we have to assume that 2025 was at least a decent season for him. And, with a decent season, he’ll be the number one pick in next year’s draft. That pick may be one of the most valuable picks since Andrew Luck went number one in the 2012 draft.
Manning has a really great chance to be the best fantasy quarterback in the family’s long history of NFL signal-callers. While he is an outstanding pocket passer, just like his uncles Peyton and Eli, Arch adds an element to his game that neither of them had, speed. He’s a legitimate dual-threat quarterback and proved it last season, rushing for four touchdowns. There’s still plenty of development to come with Manning, and he may need to stay in school an extra year, but if he is in the NFL Draft next season, he’ll be the number one pick in superflex leagues.
