Four Tight Ends to Buy, Sell, or Hold in Dynasty Leagues

Wyatt Bertolone

Welcome to the Positional Buy Sell Hold series, where each week I’ll be focusing on one position to analyze four players and what we should be doing with them in dynasty. For this week, we’re back to tight ends.

Brock Bowers, TE LV – Hold

Bowers entered the NFL as possibly the greatest tight end prospect we’ve ever seen and proved that to be right. In 2024, he put together the greatest rookie tight end season ever. Along with setting the new rookie season reception record of 112, Bowers gained nearly 1,200 receiving yards and averaged 15.7 PPR points per game, immediately asserting himself as one of the best tight ends in the league. There’s no question that Bowers has one of, if not the best, projections among all tight ends moving forward, and that everyone would love to have him on their team. The question now is: is the price worth it?

The Move – Bowers is one of the hardest assets in dynasty to acquire. Elite tight ends who create a legit separation from the field are one of the biggest advantages you can have. Trading for Bowers is going to be a near impossibility. A lot of dynasty managers won’t even entertain trades for him. If you already have Bowers, the only trades I’d entertain are getting Trey McBride and another asset in return or trading for a top quarterback in superflex.

Evan Engram, TE DEN – Buy
