2025 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Profile: Shedeur Sanders, QB Colorado

After being in the spotlight for the past few years and being known as “one of Deion Sanders’ sons,” Shedeur Sanders is ready to make a name for himself in the NFL. He has steadily improved the past few years coming from the FCS level at Jackson State and now showing he’s capable of playing against better talent at Colorado these past two seasons.
Despite those improvements and his resume, there is still a lack of clarity about where he will be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Has he done enough to hear his name called on day one? Let’s find out.
At both Jackson State and Colorado, Shedeur Sanders has been productive every year as a passer. In 2022, he passed for 3732 yards, 40 touchdowns, and six interceptions while completing 70.6% of his passes in his final season at Jackson State. In his final season at Colorado, he had arguably an even better year passing for 4134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions while completing 74% of his passes.
What hasn’t been as impressive is his rushing totals. At first glance, seeing negative rushing totals for three of his four seasons may suggest that he has no rushing ability. As we’ll discuss later, that isn’t the case. What caused those poor totals is the way the NCAA calculates rushing yards.
