Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden was not selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Read moreDJ Giddens is a sleeper in this year’s running back class. That is nothing new to him because he was a zero-star recruit who only got one offer - Kansas State. Giddens took advantage of his opportunities in his last two years of college and could even rise up to a late day-two draft pick. Let’s look at his draft profile.
Giddens started as an unknown but in his freshman year showed an immediate impact. He ran for 518 yards with six touchdowns, averaging 5.8 yards per attempt. The next two years he took over the backfield. Giddens rushed for 2,569 yards with 21 total touchdowns and added 50 receptions for over 581 yards. In 2024, he ran for over 100 yards in seven of his 12 games. On top of that, 54% of his runs were for 15 yards or more. He was more than just an outlet receiver as his yards-per-reception average was over 11 each year at Kansas State. Giddens lined up in the slot 10% of his passing down snaps and this versatility makes him even more attractive in the NFL.
