Six Dynasty Roster-Cloggers to Drop Right Now

Brandon Haye

Dynasty leagues are making their benches deeper and deeper. Taxi squads can hold players for a couple of years before they count against your roster limits. Superflex has made quarterbacks much more valuable, and we have seen injuries can move players up the depth chart.

Even with the long benches, there are players you do not need to keep on your roster anymore. These players do not have trade value, and you will not be starting them anytime soon. That is why we call them roster cloggers, and they should be someone else’s problem not your own. Running backs can bounce back into relevancy with an injury, so only one is on this list. Teams are moving on from players more quickly now and so should you on your fantasy rosters.

Harrison Bryant, TE LV

I once had high hopes for Bryant when he was a member of the Cleveland Browns. He had some occasional good games but 2022 was his high in catches with 42 and only had 239 receiving yards. Now he is third on the depth chart for the Raiders behind younger players Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer. He only has two catches on three targets so far this season. He has 11% or lower in snap share in three of five games. There is little hope that he will see any significant playing time this season.
