Profile: Elic Ayomanor was not a big name within the devy landscape heading into the 2023 seasons. It took a massive, 294-yard and three-score performance against Colorado to get folks to whip their heads around and look all the way west to Palo Alto. The Canadian product is a long, lean 6’2” and 210 pounds, using long strides to eat up yardage. His physicality and long speed make him an elite vertical threat, and he relishes taking the fight to the defense at the catch point. He is not yet a technician, letting his size and athleticism do most of the work. The foundation, however, is excellent, and Ayomanor was excellent despite having his freshman season wiped away due to injury. He had a quick ascent up the devy ranks in 2023 and could be poised for another jump in 2024.
