Read moreWith the NFL Draft in the books, we’re covering each NFL division’s dynasty fantasy football outlook. We’ll bring you an overview of each team, highlight the best and worst positional groups, and make some predictions for the division as a whole. Let’s jump into it!
Ever since Matt Ryan left town, Atlanta has been where dynasty fantasy value goes to fade away like The Snap. Kyle Pitts, Drake London and Bijan Robinson have had to suffer at the hands of an Arthur Smith offense led by a rotation of Marcus Mariota, Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke, Finally, a professional head coach and coordinator are in the Peach State, and these dynasty assets should be ready to finally reach their potential.

Kirk Cousins signed a four-year contract in Atlanta worth $100 million guaranteed. Cousins has supported plenty of high-end fantasy assets in his time in Minnesota, and he’s the perfect quarterback to get the most out of Robinson, London and Pitts.
Unfortunately for Cousins managers, the Falcons also spent their eighth overall pick on a quarterback in Michael Penix Jr. The pick doesn’t make any sense, but it does have an impact on Cousins’ value. The Falcons didn’t have a long-term answer at QB, but they didn’t need one for several years. Now, there is a first-round quarterback nipping at Cousins’ heels and threatening his starting job as early as next year. He’s being drafted as the QB23 in startup leagues right now, while Penix is the QB27. Cousins is a nice pickup right now in superflex leagues for win-now teams. Penix, meanwhile, is a stash and hope, who knows when we’ll see him hit the field?
