Daniels started his collegiate career in 2019 as a freshman for the Arizona State Sun Devils. The COVID pandemic cut short his sophomore campaign and as a junior, he struggled, throwing ten touchdown passes and a less-than-flattering ten interceptions. His skills as a running threat started to shine through more and more as Daniels went over 700 yards rushing.
