This series explores DLF Ranks and DLF ADP to find advantages to use in our dynasty leagues. While we wait for an ADP update, I thought it might be fun to take a closer look at ranking in DLF Superflex ranks and see which player is every ranker’s favorite dynasty value right now.
I could ask each of them, but like any good anti-social nerd, I don’t want to. Instead, I took their ranks and identified their positional ranks and the difference between them and the average. I then combined the positional and overall rankings difference using our LOG formula and found which player each DLF creator is suggesting is the best value on the board right now compared to each other.
Feel free to look up their DLF profile, contact them on Twitter, or generally ask their opinions and why, if any, stick out to you.
All of the DLF rankings have been updated since the NFL draft, so they should be up to date to act on in your leagues.
Eric Dickens (@DLFootball): Russell Wilson, QB DEN
Mr. Dickens is playing the quarterback position very close to the vest right now. Even then, his biggest ranking difference is one of the smallest. It’s not until pick 68 in his ranks that Wilson has a 31.6% value difference from the group.
Eric is ranking Wilson as the QB16 right now, seven spots higher than the average of QB23 and 30 spots higher than his overall rank value at 68th (compared to 98.)
Several seem to have high hopes for a bounce-back in his second year as the Denver signal caller, but Eric highlights him. It’s not as strong as John Hogue, who has him 59% above the group average. But John favors someone else even more, relatively.
