Everyone is worth rostering in the right league!
The problem with Gay [and all Chiefs LBs] is they’re unlikely to play more than 40 snaps per week.
Which means that in any given week you can expect ~50 LBs [~40 with byes] to play more than whichever Chiefs LB you start.
Given how closely linked LB scoring is to playing time – this is a huge barrier to them as IDPs.
A Chiefs LB as your #4 LB? Yeah OK.
In a league that starts fewer than 40 LBs per week? Not ideal.

Hitchens was cut already. Frank Clark will be cut if he doesn’t restructure, as they can save something like 12.5m with a post June 1 cut I believe.

Nick Bolton is the LB you want from KC right now, especially with Hitchens out.

Gay is a bit more of a question mark, because of how the Chiefs do like to rotate LBs. He could be good, but Bolton is the key LB since he is set to be the MIC.
