The Jacksonville Jaguars are having a great 2022, from a fantasy perspective at least. Their receivers were big value wins this off-season, producing more points than we can usually expect at their ADP and trade value.
This leads to some dynasty questions: which one is the best to roster heading for the future, and why is the answer the one player who didn’t even play in 2022?
As always, here’s your weekly reminder that I’m collecting the weekly data and you can find it here.
Now, let’s get on with it.
The Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022
The team has a 42% win rate and only a 32% chance of making the playoffs. However, it’s worlds above 2021 when they had a 17% win rate.
Trevor Lawrence is the QB5 in total points this season, QB7 in points per game, and has improved his performance overall as well as helped fantasy teams during the playoff stretch specifically, averaging 23 PPG since week 14. This rising tide has risen the boats of his receivers.
Christian Kirk is the WR14 in total points, Zay Jones is the WR21, and Evan Engram the TE3 (and the TE1 since week 14). The early-season success of Travis Etienne has disappointed more recently but he is still the RB20 in total points and has scored at least double-digit points each of the last two weeks.
