Dynasty Fantasy Football Stat Pack: Week Ten
If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed a series of tweets I share on a weekly basis regarding player and team defensive performances, all from a fantasy lens. I’m going to be sharing some of that same information with you here.
I use this each week as I am making my own lineup and waiver wire decisions and thought you might find this valuable as well.
Note: The scoring system used for this data is always PPR with four points for passing touchdowns.
All year to date fantasy ranks are based on total points.
Quarterbacks
Week Ten QB1s (top 12 scorers)
What even needs to be said about the unreal tear that Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has been on the past six weeks? He continues to do most of his damage as a runner, which has led some to question his long-term viability. Find those people in your league and exploit them. Fields passed for two scores and ran for two more against the Lions wilting defense. Steelers rookie Kenny Pickett notched his first ever QB1 game, thanks in large part to his legs, rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown against the Saints.

The Raiders have now played in nine games and allowed a league-high eight QB1 games, including a QB4 performance for Matt Ryan in his return to the field last week. This team truly feels like they have given up and fantasy managers should be taking advantage of that. This week, that will be tested as the Raiders face the Broncos and the struggling Russell Wilson. Wilson has just one QB1 game on the season and that came against…you guessed it…the Raiders in Week Four.
The Chiefs (vs. Justin Herbert), Lions (vs. Daniel Jones) and Titans (vs. Aaron Rodgers) are other matchups to target when setting your Week Eleven lineups.
The Eagles have still not allowed a QB1 game even after suffering their first loss of the season. I expect that streak to continue this week against Ryan and the Colts. Other defenses holding opposing quarterbacks under 17 fantasy points per game include Houston (vs. Taylor Heinicke), Cincinnati (vs. Pickett), Green Bay (vs. Ryan Tannehill) and Denver (vs. Derek Carr.)
Running Backs
Week Ten RB1s (top 12 scorers)
Finally, what we’ve all been waiting for…Jonathan Taylor is back! After enduring injuries and all-around disappointing performances through the first half of the season, the hiring of former offensive lineman Jeff Saturday as new Colts head coach apparently sparked something in the offense. Taylor had his best game since Week One, totaling over 160 yards and a touchdown on his way to an overall RB1 week. Devin Singletary scored his first two rushing touchdowns of the year and the Dolphins placed both running backs among the top-twelve for the week against the Browns defense.

The Texans and Chargers are the top teams to target when choosing your fantasy running backs for the week. The Texans defense simply isn’t very and hasn’t shown they could stop the run all year. Houston has already allowed the overall RB1 performance twice along with four other top-five weekly backfield games. Giving up over 32 fantasy points to opposing backs, take a chance on any running back against the Colts. This week, that means Miles Sanders and maybe even Kenneth Gainwell as the Eagles look to bounce back after last week’s loss.
The Chargers have other excuses and injuries continue to pile up both along their line as well as in the secondary. Regardless, Isiah Pacheco, who seems to be establishing himself as the lead back for the Chiefs, looks like a strong play this week. The rookie set a new career-high with 82 rushing yards on 16 carries last week and with the receiver corps banged up, the Chiefs could lean on the run more than normal.
The Falcons and Bears have each allowed six RB1 games and they face off in Week Eleven. David Montgomery and Cordarelle Patterson are locks as flex options this week.
The Patriots, Titans and Buccaneers have each allowed just one RB1 game all season while Tampa Bay and New England are among the three teams, along with the 49ers, surrendering less than 18 fantasy points per game to opposing backfields. This all makes Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon (vs. TEN), Michael Carter (vs. NE) and James Conner (vs. SF) difficult to trust this week.
Wide Receivers
Week Ten WR1s (top 12 scorers)
One of the best catches ever seen on a miraculous fourth-down conversion. CeeDee Lamb finally had the breakout game dynasty managers have been waiting for while rookie Christian Watson showed his upside with a three-touchdown game in a huge win for Green Bay.

The Falcons, Lions and Rams top the list of teams allowing the most WR1 weeks so far this season. I do find it interesting and surprising that only one of these teams, Atlanta, is among the four squads allowing 40+ fantasy points to opposing receivers on a weekly basis. The other three are Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Tennessee. That list gives fantasy managers several strong options to insert into Week Eleven lineups, including: Darnell Mooney (VS. ATL), Darius Slayton (vs. DET), Chris Olave (vs. LAR), Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd (vs. PIT), Allen Lazard and Watson (vs. TEN) and Lamb (vs. MIN.)
The Patriots have yet to give up a single WR1 performances, though they have allowed a league-high seven WR2 games. This bend, but don’t break style should match well against the Jets in Week Eleven. Garrett Wilson and his teammates have proven to be inconsistent and therefore risky starts all season. This week will be no different. Other teams to avoid, if possible, when setting lineups include the Texans (vs. Terry McLaurin), Giants (vs. Amon-Ra St. Brown), Colts (vs. AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith) and Broncos (vs. Davante Adams.)
Tight Ends
Week Ten TE1s (top 12 scorers)
As Fields shows massive improvements for the Bears, so does their third-year tight end Cole Kmet. After scoring just two touchdowns in his first 40 career games, Kmet has broken out over the past three games, scoring five times and ranking as the top-scoring tight end over the past month. The weekly top-scoring tight end list continues to be a who’s WHO? of mediocre players from around the league. For what it’s worth, with Dallas Goedert and Zach Ertz going down with Week Ten injuries, Dalton Schultz is my favorite tight end to target in trade for the remainder of the season.

Most TE1 Games Allowed
The Seahawks lead the league with eight TE1 games allowed but they get to rest this week, leaving Arizona as the top team to target. Maybe facing the Cardinals is what 49ers tight end George Kittle needs to enjoy a big fantasy performance. The Falcons (vs. Kmet), Ravens (vs. Tommy Tremble), Colts (vs. Jack Stoll?) are the other teams allowing the most TE1 games.
The Browns, Cowboys and Saints have only given up one top-12 performance to opposing tight ends all season, which could make things difficult for Dawson Knox (vs. CLE), TJ Hockenson (vs. DAL) and Tyler Higbee (vs. NO.)
Finally, here is the chart summarizing how teams have fared against each position. I’ve also included the schedule for this week for reference.
