This is a very deep wide receiver class that is very diverse. We are getting everything from big wide receivers who excel at getting yards after the catch to smaller slot receivers who can win with very good route running. This pool will beef up the overall talent at the position in fantasy. We should see some of these players yield results as early as their rookie season.

The second round of rookie drafts hosts a few talented wide receivers. These prospects aren’t too far off from some of those being drafted in the first round. There are usually one or two flaws keeping them from being a first-round pick. It looks like the second round might give us a receiver or two who will provide some fantasy production.
Wan'Dale Robinson, NYG
The Giants drafted Robinson in the second round. He is the only receiver in this year’s class to breakout with two different collegiate programs, Nebraska and Kentucky. The 21-year-old finished the 2021 season second in the SEC with 1,334 receiving yards. He also averaged 3.56 yards per route run while hitting 3.64 yards per team pass attempt.
You can catch Robinson in the early part of the second round of rookie drafts. His production metrics combined with his draft capital make him a very good value. He’s a safe bet to at least receive an opportunity to prove himself. Statistically, the odds are in our favor that he delivers some fantasy production. We don’t know how much of an impact, but if you want to play it safe in the second round, then Robinson might be the guy for you.
