Chase Edmonds signs with Miami: The Dynasty Fantasy Football Impact

Ken Kelly

The Dolphins have been looking for help at the running back position really ever since Jay Ajayi had his breakout season in 2016. Ajayi represents their last 1,000 yard rusher and the Dolphins have attempted to get by with the likes of Kenyan Drake, Frank Gore, Malcolm Brown, Phillip Lindsay, Myles Gaskin, Duke Johnson, Salvon Ahmed and a whole host of others to lead the charge over the past six years, with none of them really emerging as a primary or long-term option. Miami has always been one of the favorites to land a running back via free agency or the draft this year and they did just that by signing former Arizona Cardinal Chase Edmonds to a two-year, $12.6 million deal with around $6 million of that guaranteed. The signing creates a value ripple effect in dynasty leagues, so let's run down the players involved.
