Im not buying the Watson to Seattle rumors—it doesn’t make sense with the Pete Carrol offensive identity. He wants to run more not throw more. You don’t go out and spend big ($$ and draft picks) to acquire a QB like Watson only to run the ball more. Not to mention that Wilson’s ceiling isn’t really that far off Watson’s (albeit the age difference).

I agree. Then why also release Wagner when he could have been an additional asset as part of the trade.
