Love the review and nice job. I have all kinds of offers coming at me right now for Rousseau. And not sure where to value him in terms of draft picks if i was to trade him. Any clue? 1st? 2nd? In a start 2DEx16 league?

Thanks Dawgs. Good question and I think the answer really is league-dependent. Where do the top pass rushers typically go in the rookie draft? What is edge scoring like compared to other positions? Is it true position, or if not, is LB scoring geared to benefit OLBs?
In general I’d say any 1st would get it done – especially if it’s a superflex – but probably not a 2nd unless it’s an earlier 2nd in a SF.
Even if you end up just drafting another edge, I like the 2022 class more than the ’21 rookies. Hutchinson, Thibideaux, Karlaftis and Ojabo are all likely top 20 picks and have better elite tier potential.

Rousseau was taken 3.4 in this league as the 2nd DE off the board. Phillips was taken 2.15. Scoring is not true position but balanced. And it is not a SF league. Would values be similar? As I don’t play SF.

I’d take a 1st, probably an early 2nd (kind of dependent on your DE depth, and how you feel about Rousseau), if you’re shopping for a pick. Honestly I’m a little surprised the DEs didn’t go a little earlier in this setup. If it’s like most non-SF leagues I’m in, and in most years, I’m looking at trying to add a RB or WR in the 1st and early 2nd, and will start considering IDPs in the mid-2nd.

Thanks… lots of help. I am thin at DE but some good ones coming out. So if i can flip for a high 2nd and a player of need at another position I’d be cool with that. Thanks again.
