Wagner is a Top 10 Hall of Fame LB. Is being “more Wright than Wagner” really an indictment?
The time to gamble on Brooks is now. The only way you get Brooks cheaper later is if he stinks this year, in which case you’ll want nothing to do with Brooks later. On the other hand, if Brooks is good this year and then Wagner leaves, Brooks will be worth a lot more than you paid to get him now.
Good column, by the way. Can’t get enough IDP talk.

I think my comparison was more to help readers who aren’t as IDP savvy to get a sense of the talent level. Even those who don’t have IDP experience have probably heard of Wagner and how good he has been over the years. Thanks for the feedback!
