This week, algorithm director, DLF dev, and 49ers fan, Zeno Muscarella, gave us a few minutes of his time so you could get to know the behind the scenes people at DLF just a little bit better.

What do you do for your regular job?
I am a Software Developer/Data-Scientist.
What is the worst job you have ever had?
I was a stock boy at McCaulou’s in my early teens and the manager was a very mean lady who looked like a witch.

How long have you been in the industry?
I’ve been doing fantasy football analysis (good and bad analysis) for about 7 years now. I’ve been with DLF for 1 of them.
How did you get your break into fantasy football?
4 years ago, Josh Hermsmeyer inspired me to dig a bit more into NFL/collegiate data. I ended up learning how to build little web-applications and so I created a few different tools to show off different datasets. This includes Peter Howard’s awesome college target-share data and a bunch of stuff at FF-statistics and DLF.
