This week, 49ers fan and DLF writer Michael Moore took some time with us so you could get to know him just a little better. Enjoy!

 

Where are you from?

I hail from the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area.

What do you do for your regular job?

I currently am a General Manager for a marketing company.

What is the worst job you have ever had?

Dishwasher at a burger place.

What is the best job you have ever had?

Dishwasher at a burger place.

What do you consider your dream job?

I would love to be the General manager for the Dodgers.

How long have you been in the industry?

I have been working in fantasy football since the 2013 season.

How did you get your break into fantasy football?

I responded to an ad for a writer at PFF and the rest is history.

What tool do you use the most on DLF?

The trade analyzer is by far the tool I use the most.

What tool do you use the most outside of DLF?

I enjoy using IDP Guru and a lot of their info when not on DLF.

Who was the best sleeper you pegged that broke out?

It’s small but Matt Breida I was pretty proud of. But I’m a 49er fan and was probably more familiar with him than most. He had the skillset coming out of college, he just never had much of a chance to showcase it. I was able to get him pretty cheap and he was extremely serviceable.

Who was your biggest whiff?

Thinking N’Keal Harry would work out.

What is the worst trade you have made?

Trading high picks for Cam Newton and Matt Stafford in a Superflex league right before they got hurt.

Who is your favorite underfollowed Twitter account?

@RussellJClay has a few but not enough

Who is your favorite NFL team?

The San Francisco 49ers

Who is your favorite college football team?

The Texas Longhorns.

Who was your favorite player growing up?

Steve Young. He was left-handed, like me, and on the 49ers.

Who is your favorite player of all time?

Jerry Rice. Who was the greatest real and fantasy player of all time.

What other hobbies or passions do you have outside of fantasy football?

Some real nerdy stuff like trading cards that date back to the mid-90s. If that wasn’t bad enough, I read a lot of Presidential biographies.

What are some of your favorite movies?

Speed and Shawshank.

Who are some of your favorite bands?

More current bands would be The Killers, Arcade Fire, and the Arctic Monkeys. Old school stuff would be Oasis and Led Zeppelin.Â
