It’s an interesting move on the Chiefs part. Andy Reid surely has something up his sleeve to play to Bell’s strengths at this point in his career. Going from Adam Gase to Reid has a chance to liberate Le’Veon in a Mahomes lead offense. There’s a decent chance the Bell experiment helps the Chiefs this season.
Granted, 28 years old is getting up there for RBs in this day and age, but it’s hard to look at how the other recently unGased players have performed and not think Bell is going to look better than he has the past couple of years. Drake was a league winner last year, Anderson and Parker are both legit weekly starters, I think Bell will be a locked in starter within 2 weeks in his new home.
Potential buy-low opportunity on CEH, depending on how smart the current owner is. Worth a shot, Bell’s not a lock for anything after 2020 in KC.
