DLF was created by three people on the back of a pizza box back in 2006. Since that time, the site has grown to be the biggest resource for dynasty owners on the planet and our team now consists of countless writers, developers, editors, podcasters and everything in between. As the site has grown, so has our offering. If you’re new to the site or simply haven’t checked everything out, this is intended to give you the rundown of everything we have to offer. Use this guide to explore the ins and outs of DLF and dominate your dynasty fantasy football leagues. Let’s go through each menu item and discuss everything found within our walls.

2020 Rookie Draft Guide
The Rookie Draft Guide is our all-encompassing guide to the year’s rookie class. We typically have up to 50 players found within this living guide and this gives you all the information you could possibly need to learn more about them. That includes the following:
- Player information (height, weight, grade, DLF Rookie ADP, MFL Rookie ADP, overall rookie rank, rookie positional rank, age, 40-time, and all other combine stats available)
- Pre-Draft Update: Our analysis on the player prior to the NFL Draft
- Post-Draft Update: Our updated analysis after the player is selected in the NFL Draft
- DLF Resources (specific articles tied to that player and his draft prospects)
- A link to all articles on DLF that mention that specific player
- A link to our NFL Draft Prospect Videos
- A link to that player’s specific DLF Player Page
- Links to several other resources with specific information about that rookie
This living draft guide ranks our top rookies each year and is a living resource – as more information is published, more information is added. Unlike a static printed draft guide that loses value almost immediately as it becomes outdated, this gives any dynasty owner the up-to-date information they need to be well informed. Rookie Draft Cheat Sheet
Throughout the off-season, we create Rookie Draft Cheat Sheets for our subscribers to use as they complete their rookie drafts. These printable sheets are a good resource to track your picks as your draft moves along to ensure no player is forgotten. We have these for both traditional and 2QB leagues.

Dynasty Player News
This page is a “must bookmark.” Team DLF updates our player news all the time with important news that impacts player value. This is a living page that needs to be refreshed often by our users. You’ll find everything you could possibly need to know about the landscape of today’s NFL and how it impacts dynasty leagues by visiting this page. We also cite sources, so you know you’re avoiding “hot takes.”
NFL Draft Prospect Videos
This gives our readers access to the library of NFL Draft prospect videos we compile off the web. Click on any player and it will take you to their DLF player page and give you access to see highlight videos and game tape.
Dynasty Mock Draft Tool
Need to know who might be available in your upcoming startup or rookie draft? Our friends at FantasyPros have a fantasy mock draft simulator you can completely customize to fit your situation. This link will take you to it in a new window so you don’t have to even leave DLF. This handy tool can help you figure out who may be available at a certain draft spot, try different strategies or just have some fun.

* = The dynasty cornerstone rankings for PPR dynasty fantasy football leagues are intended to gauge the long-term potential value of players over the next several seasons. These rankings are unique to DLF and combine players from the previous rookie draft, this season’s rookie draft and players who are eligible for next years rookie draft. This combination of players provides a valuable comparison of young veterans, current rookies and devy players.

Within the rankings pages, make sure you do the following:
- Sort by ranker
- Filter by your desired number days since the last time a ranker updated
- Export to a CSV or PDF file
- Hover over any red ranking to read that ranker’s comments about that player
- Click on any name to go to that player’s DLF player page
- Click on a rankers name on the far left at the top to see tiers, if the ranker has provided them

Our player pages are the hub for everything DLF. When you click on a player’s name within an article or the rankings, you will be taken to the main player page. Within each player page are four different categories:

The landing page will give you the following:

THE TOOLS TAB
We pride ourselves in being the industry leader when it comes to content and rankings. However, we have added some amazing tools to help you dominate your league. Here are the tools and a short explanation of what they do:
ADP Comparison Tool
Take multiple players and compare their DLF ADP against one another.
ADP Over Time App
Visualize changing ADP value over time.
ADP and Rankings History
This table aggregates Average Draft Position (ADP) and DLF Dynasty Rankings (DLF Ranks). ADP data comes from DLF Startup Mock Drafts, which have been conducted monthly by Ryan McDowell since January 2013. Rank data is from DLF archives, starting May 2014.
ADP / Ranks Grid and Probabilities
Visualize ADP and Ranks in a snake draft format.
ADP Rank vs. PPG
Compare a player’s dynasty ADP against their season-ending positional PPG rank in PPR leagues.
Change in Player Value
A five point ADP drop means a lot more when it’s ADP 2 to 7 than when it’s ADP 72-77. This tool scales ADP and DLF Rank changes through the DLF Trade Value algorithm to better demonstrate changes in player value, and highlights the top five rising and falling players over the selected time period.
Dynasty Draft App
Want to know if a player you desire in a specific round has a chance to be there? Look no further. The Dynasty Draft App determine probability of dynasty start-up draft picks in a dynasty league startup draft, based on our startup ADP.
Percentage Fantasy Points
Displays how fantasy points are earned for one or more players over a period of time. This is useful for visualizing how a players fantasy points are generated, depending upon scoring system.
Use this to compare players over annual or monthly timeframes by selecting from several options.
Determine probability of rookie draft picks in a dynasty rookie draft.
The auction format has gained popularity through the years. The Startup auction App will help you gauge auction values and assist with your startup auction draft by giving you projected values and helping you with your budget.
The yearly player data app is a multifaceted, powerful tool for measuring player statistics over a season. It can also be used to analyze and compare yearly finishes by more than one player. This tool allows looking at annual positional finishes of one or more players, typically of the same position, to gauge performance versus peers, and can be viewed as one or more seasons. This can be represented in graph format. It also allows a deeper statistical and graphical dive into various aspects of the selected players’ performances. This includes:
- Position rank chart
- Rushing or receiving points per opportunity
- Yearly data table
- Consistency data table
- Points per opportunity
- Points per opportunity raw data table
Z-Score App
This chart illustrates just how much a player produces when given opportunities.
The DLF Dynasty Trade Analyzer is more than just another dynasty trade calculator. It’s a complete tool intended to help owners make well informed trade decisions, with as much relevant context as possible and hooked into the DLF eco-system of data.
This tool is always receiving new functionality – there is much more to come. Below you can see some sample results from the trade analyzer. More data can be seen on the actual page.
Here are a few notes to consider when using the dynasty trade analyzer;
- Our dynasty trade analyzer FAQ’s page will answer most of your questions regarding the trade tool.
- Player values are drawn from Rankings, ADP, as well as recent trade data to help shape player value.
- You can select either 1QB or 2QB/Superflex league trade scenarios.
- Currently IDP players, Kickers and Devy Players are not available as trade options. We are working on it, though!
- The rookie pick value adjustment slider is intended to give an owner the ability to nudge rookie draft pick values a bit in one direction or another depending on specific league or team considerations, like a league or owner which over-values or under-values draft picks; or if an owner who is in win now or rebuild mode, etc.
- The Package Value Adjustment is designed to mitigate the effects of ‘spamming’ one side of a trade with a bunch of players or draft picks (assets) in order to make up value of a more valuable player on the other side. Generally speaking, the greater the asset differential, the larger the modifier.
- The Related Dynasty Trades keys on trades involving the most valuable asset from either side of the trade. Sometimes it will not find a matching trade, but we do include a link out to the trade finder to search for more trades.
- We pull up to five of the most recent news items and DLF articles for each player in the trade so owners can make sure they know the latest news before making a decision.
Dynasty Trade Finder
The Trade Finder is a tool developed by the DLF team to search out and list actual trades which have taken place in real world dynasty leagues on MyFantasyLeague. This tool is intended as a complement to Dynasty Player Rankings and ADP Data as a means to better evaluate player value and help understand real world trade value. You can read more about it here. This is a fantastic tool to use when looking for actual trades made for certain players or draft picks in real dynasty leagues across the globe.
College Market Share App
Use this app to explore player production while in college. Use the Custom baseline Filters option to further refine your search criteria. For more information, please read our detailed explanation on how to use the CFB MS App.
Historical Combine Data App
Wondering how a certain prospect stacks up against others in a given year? Look no further! Explore results from the NFL Combine over the past twenty years in all area of drills and measurements.
Player Combine Performance App
Want to visualize NFL Combine results for individual players from the past twenty years? Yeah, we did, too.
Coaching History App
This app provides several different ways of analyzing and visualizing the history of every coach and coordinator since 2000 in all facets of their team’s offense. Read the Coaching History App Tutorial for more information on how to use this excellent resource.

Tired of searching Google for relevant fantasy information on your specific dynasty players? We’ve got you covered! Our NFL News Source automatically pulls in articles from literally hundreds of news sources and allows you to filter by team, player, local news, national news and tons more. This tool is a huge time saver for you to get information about your specific dynasty players.
Player Splits App
Summarizes player statistics into two groups based on whether the plays or games fit a given set of conditions.
Here you can select a quarterback and see how the other skill position players perform while playing with that quarterback.
Here you can view, sort and compare snap count data for one or more players over different seasons.
