Like this article overall, but I don’t understand why you like higher variability in head-to-head matchups. I’ve played enough DFS to know that in head-to-heads, 50/50s, and other “cash games” consistency is your friend. Where you benefit from high variability is in GPP tournaments, where you have to score in the “upper tail” of the scoring distribution to make money. Players with high variability will cause you to win by 40 points one week and lose by 20 the next. In a head-to-head league, you just need to win each week. How much you win by doesn’t matter.
