The anticipation of the NFL Draft has been building for months in dynasty leagues and there was doubt if the event would even take place in the midst of the spread of the coronavirus. Because of that, the grand scale event planned for Las Vegas was shut down and the first ever virtual draft was put in place. Let’s run though the picks and discuss their dynasty impact.

1 (1) – Joe Burrow, QB CIN

The Bengals wasted no time in making things official and selected the Heisman Trophy winner in Burrow. Unlike many rookie quarterbacks, Cincinnati seemingly has no plans to sit Burrow as a rookie and are still expected to move on from longtime starter Andy Dalton. Burrow walks into a solid situation with a stacked set of weapons including Joe Mixon, AJ Green and Tyler Boyd. He should immediately be considered a QB1 in dynasty leagues.

Dallas is the worst team for Lamb. The best WR in the worst team (Amari, Gallup and Zeke). I’ll not pick him.

Gallup won’t be resigned. Still though… terrible spot for lamb.

I would be more interested in drafting all the first round receivers, except for Ruggs, before Lamb with the Cowboys…do not love it

I have A-Rod in my dynasty. So, I hope that GB will take at least a weapon (Higgins?) for him. If you see the TB draft you think: “They are in win-now mode” (Brady, Gronko and trade up for OL). Differently, if you see GB choosing Love, with a trade up, instead of a WR for A-Rob, you must think that they are in rebuilding-mode and not in win-now mode.

How on earth is Lamb still ranked so high after going to one of the worst landing spots possible? He’s not even gonna be the WR1 on his own team lmao

Because its dynasty & only players drafted in round 1 are ranked. Lamb could well be Dallas #1 WR in a few years & a top 10-15 dynasty asset if he lives up to the hype. For

CEH he could easily move into the top 3 in rookie drafts as RB tend to get immediate production along with generally have a shorter shelf life. In a perfect world he stays in KC as their RB 1 for five years surrounded by young (minus Kelce) talented offense. KC was talked to be one of the top landing spots & has the highest draft capital for RB. I wasn’t a CEH truther but am now.

Wow. Terrible fits in the short term. Carr won’t take advantage of Ruggs speed. Jeudy would have thrived with a precision QB. Lamb/ Cooper/Gallup will be a weekly exercise in frustration. We can still pick the cheaper Minnesota WR on FanDuel each week. And CEH…… can one team have the top QB, top TE, a top 8 WR and a top 5 RB? Will he even be a workhorse? D Will looked alright in the Super Bowl….. sounds like a time share to me. I hope someone in my super flex league is dumb enough to take him 1.01.

I have Murray and Lamar as QBs in a Superflex with picks 1.01/1.04/1.05. Crazy to take Edwards-Helaire at 1.01?

Wait and see where the other RBs go, too soon to say.
