Thanks! Keep them coming. Super entertaining and great write ups!
This is definitely the round where landing spot means a lot as well as the coaching staff and philosophy. It seems like there’s an abundance of middling RB’s right now so it’ll be cool to see who separates themselves in this draft. Great article! Thanks! Can’t wait for the 3rd and 4th round!
I love these write-ups as well and I am too a HUGE fan of Tyler Johnson… for the exact same reasons as you (born and bred a Minnesotan and a fellow U of MN grad). I could see him being almost a poor-man’s Michael Thomas as his upside… just that new generation big slot WR, one who is also so good in the red zone. If I could pull him at 2.10 in my rookie draft I’d be thrilled. I have 1.1 and 1.10 (traded away DJ Moore for the owner’s first round rookie pick in 2020 before the 2019 season started even though he was almost assured of picking at 1.1 based on our rules) besides 2.10. Trying to decide between Swift (my personal choice due to PPR rules to pair with Kamara and K. Hunt) and Taylor (collegiate workload scares me that he’ll have a very short NFL career) at 1.1 then best of what’s left at 1.10. It’s an IDP league as well so some of these offensive guys will fall further. Last year we had 7 IDPs go in the first 20 (Bosa, Bush, D. White, Abram, Ferrell, J. Allen, and E. Oliver). Don’t foresee that many this year (I’m thinking 2 for sure in Young and Simmons).
