LISTEN TO THE SHOW
In this very special edition of the DLF Podcast, hosts Jeff Miller and George Kritikos lay to rest the dynasty value of a famous, or perhaps infamous fantasy footballer. They also welcome this week’s guest, Rich Hribar (@LordReebs) of The Fake Football website, the Faked Goods Podcast, Rotoviz, numberFire, XN Sports, Fantasy Insiders, and DraftDay Consultants fame. He joins the guys to discuss the NFL draft, teams in need, later round players who may be worth your attention, candy, Tecmo Bowl, and more.

New podcast sux! I’ve listened for about a year and I don’t think I’ll continue listening every week. These new personalities aren’t going to work and you will lose a lot of listeners unless you change soon. Get a new lead host, others are ok compliments but lead guy really sux! His comments are dorky and not funny at all. Fantasy football is perceived as a nerd hobby but I am not a nerd but feel like one when listening to this clown. Just trying to help you out. Hopefully you get it switched quickly.
Where did the old guys go, if they are still doing a podcast somewhere I’d rather listen to that. These new guys are terrible.
Hi Jason! I’m sorry you aren’t a fan of the new pod or the new host (me). Clown may be a bit strong, and perhaps insulting to actual clowns, but I get it that not everybody will jive with my style or personality, and that’s OK. We hope you’ll give us a few more listens as we get more comfortable in the gig, which should help things be more smooth and natural. But if not, we’d like to thank you for at least giving things a try for the first few episodes. Thanks for the feedback and all the best to you in your travels.
Hey guys, sorry to hear you are not taking to the new hosts and format. I would hope you give them a few more episodes before completely bailing on the show. As for the previous hosts, they have moved on to form their own show. You can find them here – http://dynastyone.libsyn.com/
Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing our show, Ken.
Jason – You say you started listening to us about a year ago? Eric and I joined the team about a year and a half ago. If you heard us then, you may be saying the same thing. Some of being a good radio host is natural ability (which I think Jeff has), and a lot is a learned skill. I’d like to think I had the former when I began, but the latter came over time. I think Jeff will do a good job especially since I saw his progression as a dynasty writer first hand. In fact, much of the reason Jeff is on the show is because we thought enough of him to fill in as a guest host on multiple occasions. Jeff may not know this, but the old DLF Podcast crew considered asking him to join us full time down the road.
There’s a very real chance you may continue to dislike the show, but I wouldn’t base a full opinion on a host when he’s barely gotten his sea legs.
I’m just glad I have another great dynasty podcast to listen to! Love the new lineup and also loving dynastyone too.
One criticism. Is there any chance you could up the volume on the recordings? I’m regularly at max volume on my phone to listen to it on headphones and it’s barely audible whilst travelling by the tube.
Sincerely,
A London-based fan
Hey Hannibal,
That’s on me sir. I will up the ante on the volume.
George
I clicked on this article when i saw that there had been 7 comments with the expectation that you guys were getting rave reviews. I’m shocked at criticisms. I agree that the sound was a little off on the inaugural episode (i’ve noticed that a bit on Filmetrx also George, get your shit together 😉 ) but i didn’t pick up on any of that this past week. As far as Jason’s review of Jeff, I couldn’t disagree more. You’re humor may be lost on him but that is one of the things i enjoy most about your articles and i’m glad you aren’t hiding that part of you on the podcast. I’m with Hannibal, having another great podcast to add to my rotation is a good thing. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Mac. We really appreciate the support!
Thanks Mac and I will get better (or get replaced!) with the sound. Appreciate the kind words.
George
