DLF Website Update
Running a fantasy football website is in some ways like playing in a dynasty league – the moment you stop working to improve is the moment you start falling behind.
DLF in 2006
DLF started in 2006 at a time when no other sites focused on dynasty fantasy football. Â Our inaugural site design was clean and functional for the day, but not very easy to update. But the site and the DLF Forum provided a platform to bring together passionate players and build a dynasty community.
In 2010 we rolled out a complete re-design of the site, using the then still-not-yet-ubiquitous WordPress publishing platform. This made it much easier for us to post and edit and gave us an entirely new, more professional presence. This foundation proved so successful that it served as the blueprint for several other sites looking to emulate our model. In the following years we made several changes and updates to the site, but the underlying design has remained the same and served us well for six years.
But six years is a very long time on the web. The pace of change on the internet is swift and unrelenting and over the last year it was increasingly clear the time had come for us to build a new foundation.
Welcome to DLF 3.0!
The new website brings a fresh, modern appearance as well as a responsive, flexible foundation geared for growth. A few key features of the updated site include the following:
A Mobile Friendly Platform
When nearly half the visitors to our site are accessing our content on mobile devices and tablets, a mobile-friendly site is not a luxury, it is a requirement. Content-Focused layout
We stripped away as much unnecessary and distracting material as we could and made the article images and content the primary focus of the site. That’s why you’re here, that’s what you should see first.
New Archive Search Tool
One of the issues we have always grappled with (and one of the requests we receive most frequently) is the ability to find articles and information after they drop from the home page. Our new Archive Search feature allows you to search for content by date range, topic, author and even by player name. We haven’t finished cataloging all our articles yet, but when we’re done, you’ll be able to access all of our content from the last five years through an intelligent, powerful search.

We’ve gathered some of the best podcasts various fantasy sites and brought them to you in one convenient location. You can play the latest tracks from any of these fine shows all on this one page. Check out the Podcast Central page to start listening now.

Please keep in mind, we’re still finishing up the roll out. Some links are not in place, other pages are not yet complete. but we’re working on it, and we should have everything wrapped up in the next week or so. Thanks for your patience as we finish this up! And as always, we will continue to work on improving the interface and functionality, listening to and appreciating your feedback along the way.
For ten years, DLF has been leading the way in the dynasty space, and we have no plans to slow down anytime soon. While others will continue to follow our lead, we continue providing the very best dynasty, keeper, developmental dynasty and scouting service anywhere.
We are thankful and appreciative of all the support we have enjoyed over the last ten years and look forward to another awesome ten years together.
