National Signing Day Preview

Christmas. The Fourth of July. National Signing Day. These are three of my favorite days of the year, and now one of them is finally here. While some may blow it off as an overhyped day for high school seniors to see who can garner the most attention for themselves, National Signing Day is one of the most important days of the year for football fans. The decisions made on Wednesday will have an impact for years to come, as one day some of these players will become NFL stars. For those who don’t know, National Signing Day is the first Wednesday of every February, and is the first day that players can sign their National Letter of Intent. Coaches will be standing at fax machines at seven a.m. eagerly awaiting the first player to officially sign with their class. Players will be putting on hats, pulling out dogs, or tweeting out their decision throughout the day. It really is quite the spectacle, and multiple skill players are set to announce on Wednesday.
