Introducing the DLF Rookie and Devy Mock Draftrooms

Editor’s Note: This is a very exciting day for us here at DLF and one that simply couldn’t have happened without the hard work of Scott Fish and a host of others. This project has been in the works for a while and we’re pretty stoked to have it become a reality for the masses here at DLF as one more added benefit of being part of our growing list of faithful readers.

We have some exciting news here at Dynasty League Football this week!

We know people love doing mock drafts for rookies and devy players. We have created a place for you to do that! These mockrooms are set up to do four round, 12-team mocks. In the near future, there should be the ability to do varying amounts of rounds and teams.

[inlinead]They are really easy to sign up for mocks and create mocks. The biggest requirement is that you need to be logged in to use these mockrooms. You must login before you go to the mockrooms if you want everything to work. Dynasty League Football will now offer free member accounts so that people who are not currently members can participate. A non-member can sign up for a free Dynasty League Football account here.

Once you have an account, you can join mocks, view your previous mocks and view all mocks. Premium DLF subscribers will have the ability to create mocks.

These rooms have been operating all season for ADP mocks and will now be publicly available for use. Currently there is no autopick or pre-drafting, so the commissioner of the mock needs to keep an eye on it to make sure it goes smoothly. The commissioner has the ability to make picks for people.

You will have the option to make your mocks public or private. They will fill much faster if public. If you make a mock private, you will need to supply a link to join that mock to people. Down the road, private mocks might be password protected. For now, they simply just don’t show up on the public open mocks page.

Another great aspect of these mockrooms is live updating ADP. There is live Devy and Rookie ADP. You can toggle between the ADP from the official DLF ADP mocks and an ADP of all mocks. This will be a great resource for dynasty players, especially over the next few months during devy and rookie draft season.

Many features will be added in the future, but for now I encourage everyone to go in and enjoy some mock drafts!
