Byron Marshall
Byron Marshall
Pos: WR
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
School: Oregon
Age: 22
Height: 5’9
Weight: 201
Forty: 4.63
Dynasty Summary: A tweener as a running back and a receiver, Marshall is the only player in Pac-12 history to amass 1,000 yards as a receiver in one year (2014) while rushing for 1,000 yards in another (2013). He’s undersized for both roles but has shown great versatility, something increasingly valuable in the modern NFL. In fantasy, he doesn’t project well unless drafted by a team experienced in using gadget players and creative offenses. At best, Marshall is a very late fantasy rookie selection and may go undrafted depending on the depth of your fantasy league draft.

Kelvin Taylor
Kelvin Taylor
Pos: RB
Team: San Francisco 49ers
School: Florida
Age: 22
Height: 5’10
Weight: 207
Forty: 4.60
Dynasty Summary: The son of former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor, Kelvin does resemble his father in many areas but size is not one of them. On the border of being well sized for the position, added strength and weight will be necessary at the next level but could also impact his greatest asset, agility. Taylor has impressive agility and swivels well above his hips. Has the ability to get small through the line of scrimmage and feel his way to the second level. Shows enough patience consistently to allow blocks and seams to form, uses his acceleration to take advantage. Despite being neither an overly strong runner nor ultra productive, he should get a chance at the next level.

Dhaquille Williams
D’haquille Williams
Pos: WR
Team: Los Angeles Rams
School: Auburn
Age: 23
Height: 6’2
Weight: 229
Forty: 4.72
Dynasty Summary: Williams turned in a terrible performance at the NFL Combine causing his draft stock to plummet. Other than his notable size, there just hasn’t been much to raise awareness of Williams. On tape however, Williams shows that there’s more to his game. He has soft hands and runs routes with fluidity, though he tends to round off many of his breaks. Once considered to be a first round fantasy selection, Williams is likely going to fall to the third round on the heels of his disappointing combine performance.

Cayleb Jones
Cayleb Jones
Pos: WR
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
School: Arizona
Age: 23
Height: 6’3
Weight: 209
Forty: 4.65
Dynasty Summary: Jones has NFL size but should have stayed in school for his senior year. Was productive at Arizona but doesn’t show the speed or separation ability to distinguish himself in the pro game. He does use his size well in the red zone and has capable-enough hands, although smaller than would be expected for his size (9.25″). His footwork is sloppy and he needs to improve greatly out of his breaks. His father (Robert Jones) played in the NFL and his Uncle (Jeff Blake) was a quarterback. Drafting Jones will be done so in hoping that his size gives him the opportunity to develop at the next level.

Demarcus Ayers
Demarcus Ayers
Pos: WR
Team: Pittsburgh Steelers
School: Houston
Age: 21
Height: 5’9
Weight: 182
Forty: 4.72
Dynasty Summary: Curiously, Ayers declared for the NFL draft instead of returning to school to build upon his skill-set and productivity. Another undersized receiver that will likely go undrafted in fantasy unless he falls to a team utilizing slot receivers well (New England, Atlanta, etc.). There’s upside, just not enough intrigue to provide for any sort of reach in a rookie draft.

Marshaun Coprich
Marshaun Coprich
Pos: RB
Team: New York Giants
School: Illinois State
Age: 21
Height: 5’8
Weight: 207
Forty: 4.47
Dynasty Summary: Less than ideal height, Copich is small school prospect who was ultra-productive at ISU. he ran a 4.42 at his pro-day and jumped out of the gym (39″) for his size. He’s only 5’8″ but carries a lot of muscle mass at 207 lbs. and has a very thick base. Resembles a young MJD to some degree but with greater short area agility. Willing runner inside but tends to lose patience. Good feel and instincts in space but long speed doesn’t match his forty time. Average hands out of the backfield. His upside would be Darren Sproles or Danny Woodhead but doesn’t seem to carry the same potential. Was arrested for trying to sell marijuana to an under-cover agent. Very deep lottery odds prospect.

Connor Cook
Connor Cook
Pos: QB
Team: Oakland Raiders
School: Michigan State
Age: 23
Height: 6’4
Weight: 217
Forty: 4.79

Aaron Burbridge
Aaron Burbridge
Pos: WR
Team: San Francisco 49ers
School: Michigan State
Age: 22
Height: 6’0
Weight: 206
Forty: 4.56
Dynasty Summary: Exploded in 2015 during his senior year for Michigan St. after poor performances during his first three years. Average athlete with less than ideal speed and lower body explosion and leaping ability. Capable but small hands, not an overly strong route runner. Looks like a slot receiver at the next level. Appears to possess a great work ethic and has a desire for performance. Little to separate himself from the other average receivers in the class.
