FlipRanks: Perfect for the Off-Season!

Have you ever done an insane amount of research to prepare for a draft only to hesitate when it comes your time to select a player? If that’s happened to you, you’re certainly not alone. Last year, we unveiled a tool designed to help you make those snap decisions and sharpen your fantasy mind to the point where that should never happen again… plus, we have a lot of fun along the way. This is now the best time of the year to get acclimated to FlipRanks.

What is FlipRanks?

When you visit the FlipRanks site at flipranks.com, you’ll immediately see a battle between two players. Simply choose which player you would take in a PPR dynasty draft. You can choose from the following position battles:

Quarterbacks
Running Backs
Wide Receivers
Tight Ends
Flex (RB, WR, TE)
Superflex (QB, RB, WR, TE)
Top 200 Overall

Each battle is recorded in our database and players are ranked based on their ‘flipscore,’ a custom formula which factors the number of battles won, number of battles lost, overall winning percentage, strength of opponent and more. As more flips are recorded, the more accurate these community rankings will become. Now that we’ve hit the off-season, this is going to be a great tool for upcoming drafts. To view the crowd-sourced rankings and overall records of the players, click on the “rankings” link in the upper right corner of the page. There’s even a print-friendly version of these rankings available.

Want more? We’re just getting started!

If you have a DLF Premium subscription, you can create your own set of Flipranks! Just click on the “Flipranks Premium” link in the top right corner of the site and you’ll go to your own personalized FlipRanks page. From there, you can “flip out” and do battle after battle, building your own personalized set of rankings as you go. The more you do, the more accurate your rankings will get. In essence, your mind is put to the test as you have to choose between players as if you were in your own draft or creating your own rankings.
