When we launched our re-designed site and made a commitment to bringing you a more complete product here at DLF, we promised it was just the beginning of some great things to come. One of the new areas of focus for us are the daily fantasy football leagues. We’re committed to providing you content on these leagues each week when the season rolls around. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

We’re proud to announce a newly formed partnership with FanDuel, the biggest and best provider of daily fantasy sports leagues. We each recognize we’re the respective leaders in our industries, so we’re offering an unprecedented deal exclusively for readers of DLF. We’re confident you’ll use that $10 and find a whole lot of daily fantasy football fun over there and are obviously thrilled at the payback you’ll receive.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Click on THIS LINK to go to FanDuel and open your account.
  2. Create a new FanDuel account (this offer is only for new members of FanDuel)
  3. Deposit $10 into your FanDuel account
  4. Allow us up to 48 hours and we’ll send you your new login information for our Premium Content

That’s it.  For that $10 deposit, you’re receive a complimentary $20 subscription to the leader in dynasty fantasy football content right here at DLF.  Already a subscriber?  No problem!  Sign up with FanDuel and they’ll pay to extend your membership with us for an extra year!

I’m a member of both sites; can you offer any discounts on premium membership renewal?

This specific campaign and agreement made is limited to new members of FanDuel, so existing members aren’t eligible. It’s a joint effort for us and one obviously designed to raise awareness for FanDuel, but also to give many a way to get their DLF subscription for free. It’s a win-win for both on that front.

I just joined FanDuel using your link above but I didn’t see anything on thier site where it referenced a free one year membership to DLF. I decided to plug in “DFL” in the promocode field (I realized afterwards that I meant “DLF” and not DFL). I’m new to both FanDuel (always feared getting addicted to FanDuel) and DLF. The guys over at 4for4.com recommended DLF to me since I asked their scouts quesstions about position rankings in regards to my normal leagues and my Dynasty League. So here I am but now I thinked I messed up my FanDuel accountand wont get my free year of DLF.

New members only? Lame. What degenerate here doesn’t already have a FanDuel account?

      Ryan,

This is absolutely the funniest and truest comment I have seen on this site.

We knew there would be some overlap here, but we also did a recent poll that told us only about 1/3 of our members play in daily leagues.

This was a partnership opportunity we really couldn’t pass up, though. For those on the fence about a FanDuel account or our Premium content, this should be a great way for them to try both.

        Ken,
This partnership is really a great move for you guys. I look forward to seeing some write ups on your guy’s strategy.

I am obviously a lameo! I have not used FanDuel out of fear of addiction! As I have now become addicted to Dynasty League Football! I will now gladly but, fearfully, subscribe to FanDuel out of shear bullying by DLF and it’s readers as I do not want to be lame!
I’m most certainly kidding but, the offer is too good to pass up!!
Thanks team for finding new ways to shrink my pocket book!
      Again just kidding!

I guess I am one of those degenerate’s that Ryan is talking about above. I am new to DLF, dynasty football, and daily fantasy football. My question is this, I already have a premium content subscription with DLF but do not have a FanDuel membership. If I create a FanDuel membership will I still get a year free?

    • Ken Kelly

      May 29, 2014 at 7:20 am

Yes, they’ll pay us to extend your membership by a year for free!

Just click that link, open your new FanDuel account and make your initial $10 deposit. They’ll send us the report and you we’ll extend your subscription by twelve months from the time it was scheduled to expire.

I’m one of those crazy ppl. I’ve been playing dynasty for 3 years but have avoided the daily leagues. I guess sign me up for further fantasy football addiction

Well, they’ll happily get you a year of Premium Content for free. Thanks Zach!

You’ll receive an email within 24 hours or so. Just be sure to sign up on FanDuel using the same email address you use on DLF so we can match those up. Thanks!

            May 29, 2014 at 10:02 am

I’m confused with how this is supposed to work. It appears that I need to pay for my membership in order to “sign up” for DLF. I have been posting on the DLF forum for awhile, but my email address does not appear to be registered. How do I have an email registered with you without having to fork over the membership fee up front?

          • Ken Moody

            May 29, 2014 at 10:37 am

Kelsier, yes, you do have an account for both the DLF Forum and the main website. But having an account is not the same as having access to premium content. In order to be able to access our premium content on the website and the premium forum sections on the DLF Forum, you’ll want to upgrade your account to a premium account. You can do so either by purchasing a DLF Premium Account for $19.99, or by opening a new account on FanDuel with a $10 deposit there. As long as you don’t already have a FanDuel account your DLF Premium membership is covered by FanDuel. I hope that helps. Thanks! KM

So I went to Fanduel and started an account this morning after reading this but did not click that link, not thinking anything of it. Does that mean no free year of premium for me?

    • DLF_KenK

      May 29, 2014 at 5:58 pm

Oh snap! Yes, that’s a key to the process. Go ahead and contact FanDuel to let them know, but they generate the report off that link…

Hey Fury. We just went live with the promo yesterday AM so hopefully you followed the link from our site to sign up. That said, we’ll be making all the connections shortly … it’s a manual process on our end but fear not, we’ll get you set up. If you didn’t use our promo link, please let us know.

Thanks, but I’m not interested in FanDuel out of sheer contempt for their annoying ass commercials where the guy lispingly hammers on over how great FanDuel is every thirity seconds.

Also not into daily leagues. Thanks tho

    • Ken Kelly

      June 1, 2014 at 10:28 am

No problem! When you have a chance to offer to have your subscriptions paid for by someone, you jump on it. We’ve had a bunch take advantage, so that’s good. For everyone else, nothing changes!

Maybe a dumb question, but will it work if we deposit more than $10? Everything in the description is kind of specific to $10 even. Thanks.

      June 29, 2014 at 10:06 pm

      Ted,

as long as you deposit a minimum of $10 or more, you are good to go.

    Hey folks,

first off, we are *very sorry* for the confusion, delays and lack of response. This is absolutely not how we normally do business at DLF! We typically take great pride in responding to every email and every post as quickly as possible, usually within a few hours, but always within 24 hours. In this case, we really dropped the ball. Several of us were out of town over the last week, there was a communication disconnect, and all this was on top of a new registration reporting breakdown from FanDuel.

Please accept our apologies for this, we will respond to each one of you tonight, and we will absolutely make sure this is handled quickly.

Moving forward we are working with FanDuel to ensure their reporting to us is timely, accurate and complete. FanDuel is aggressively working on a solution and we are now in constant contact to ensure all of our new registrations are recorded promptly.

again, we genuinely apologize for these issues and our failure to respond to your messages over the last few days, but we are on it, and we will make it right.

Thank you all for being a part of the DLF community!

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough
to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability
and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a superb job with this.
In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer.

    Outstanding Blog!

    Blog writing– promote your business.
Many companies currently utilize blogging web pages as a casual method of associating with their customers.
For the smaller sized, or brand-new entrepreneur, it’s an excellent means
to advertise their items without expensive marketing prices.
Merely by posting a regular blogging column, little business can frequently
