New Premium Content Tools Available

It’s been a big week on the DLF front.

Earlier this week, we announced our new relationship with FFToolbox, including the announcement of the Dynasty Football World Championship. Today, we’re very excited to reveal a new tool we’re bringing to our Premium Content members. The “DLF Rookie Draft Board” is an interactive scouting tool for you to use for your evaluation of the rookie class. This board includes player cards for all the prospects that includes not only a write-up on their skill set, but also numerous highlight reels you can click to watch and evaluate for yourself. The Premium community will be able to comment on each of the players and share their own thoughts as well. The Rookie Draft Board currently has over 100 offensive players featured and we’re working on creating a defensive board to accompany it prior to the NFL Draft in April. We feel this is the ultimate scouting tool for any dynasty enthusiast to use in order to have all the information possible to make educated decisions in upcoming rookie drafts.

This tool comes on the heels of our addition of the FADS (Flexible Auction Draft Worksheet) we brought you earlier this month. This worksheet allows you to work through your salary cap auction draft using three different approaches:

1.) An aggressive approach which focuses on get the best possible lineup for an owner but with very limited depth
2.) A value and depth based approach which seeks to value an owner’s bench and starting lineup roughly the same
3.) A balanced approach which allows an owner to determine what percentage of their salary cap they want to allocate to their starting lineup and what percentage they wish to allocate to their bench.

This worksheet was well received by the Premium community and even received this praise from a member, “The FADS system just helped me destroy my first SC/Auction league Draft. I scoured the internet looking for rankings and values, but I just wasn’t satisfied with what I was finding. …. Wow what a difference and yes, I think it is revolutionary. It helped me put value on EVERY player, if I wasn’t sure about a player I ALWAYS went to my FADS notebook.”

We felt it was important to announce these tools to our entire community, just in case you were looking for that last little nudge to try out our Premium Content and to review the site’s progress over the last year. We unveiled our Premium Content package back on April 21st and it was met with both excitement and skepticism. While some were excited about the new addition, others were concerned about what we would be able to provide with our free package.

Over the past 11 months, we’ve provided 787 articles on DLF, thanks to our incredible group of writers. Of those articles, we’ve had 413 Premium articles and 374 on the free side, maintaining our promise to provide information to you in whichever way you wanted.
