This is for my flex position. It’s bleak I know, was supposed to be Collie but we’ve seen how that worked out. Anyways it’s a PPR league

That was the martin/streater deal I was asking you and Ryan about on twitter. Kind of a lateral deal, just hoping Mathews can be what we thought he’d be.

QB. Brady or RG3
2 RB. Forte, F. Jackson or Ridley
3 WR. A. Brown, D. Avery, T. Smith, Welker, Andre Roberts, Garçon, Cobb and M. Williams
TE. Bennett, Pitta and Olsen

Thanks for the help.

RB – Forte & Ridley
WR – Brown, Welker, & Smith
TE – Bennett

Not sure if this is the right venue. But is it too much to give up Demaryius Thomas and Darren Sproles for Julio Jones in a PPR league? If so, would adding Hillman to the Jones side make things more even? Thanks!

A couple weeks ago I would have jumped all over the JJ side… Now JJ looks like Dez a little and seems like he can disappear in games. A WR1 isn’t supposed to disappear…

That said, if you are good at RB, I’d do it. Sproles is getting older anyway…

I’d say Mega, AJG, and JJ should be untradeable in dynasty, so if you can find a way to grab one, do it.

(not a pro ff guy here)

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve got McFadden and Murray at RB and Fitzgerald and Jennings at WR. We start 2 rb’s, 2 wr’s, and a flex.

I too agree with your analysis. JJ, AJG and Mega are going to be studs for years to come. I actually have a trade question myself. Should I trade Welker for a 2013 1st? I feel that this may be the best time to get the most out of him. Btw the 1st will most likely be a top 4 pick. Thanks in advance for the advice.

I just traded Welker from a rebuilding team, offered Welker for draft picks, he counteroffered Alshon Jeffery and Dennis Pitta, so I took that deal (had Jared Cook as TE1)

I think your original offer is a good one. I can’t see the Julio owner adding anything to their side, but take it if you can get it.

In the future, this would fit better in the forum under Dynasty Team Advice or the Ask the DLF Team section of the Premium forum. Thanks!

With the first round of Bye-weeks and an injury to one of my other WRs, I’ll need an emergency fill-in for a PPR Flex spot. Those are my options:

WR Randle (vs CLE)
TE Moeaki (vs BAL)
KR/PR Reynaud (@ MIN)

I guess Reynaud may actually be my “safest” choice, as Randle’s barely seeing the field yet and Moeaki might be asked to block a lot against the Ravens 🙁

Nothing on the waiver-wire available for pickup? Reynaud if not, for the reasons you cited.

It seems as if I always pick the wrong kicker to start. In variably the one on the bench far outscores the other. Which should I roll with this week?

Tynes or Hartley

You should only have one kicker rostered! Drop the other one and grab someone on the waiver wire!

Hello, I’m in a touchdown scoring only league here. I have to start two backs…I’ve been running with Lynch and Ridley with Alfred Morris on the bench so far this year. Has Morris earned a start next week against Atlanta due to Seattle’s offensive issues and Ridley facing Denver’s run defense or should I continue with Lynch and Ridley.
Thank you.

I almost never start a RB returning from injury that hasn’t played…that said, the matchup favors Mendenhall. My team, I’m rolling w/ Stewart, but these are fairly even.

hope it’s ok I ask this here, but I’m kind of in a rebuilding year. I’m trading both Brady and Welker together and would get Hakeem Nicks, Justin Blackmon and David Wilson in return. Am I getting enough back for those two, or should I hold out for more?

Josh Gans
Reply to  bamafan1987

You gotta at least get a lower end QB1 back as well (or super high-end Qb2)…and by serviceable, Id swap out Blackmon or Wilson and get..I dont know..Rivers? Dalton? Big Ben? Romo? Eli? Flacco?
Nicks is elite when healthy, but Wilson and Blackmon havent proven anything as of yet…and yet you are giving up a PPR stud and a HOF QB.

Hold out for something like Flacco/Rivers/Dalton and Nicks and Wilson/Blackmon….though I dont know if you have another decent QB already…

I really need opinions here.

Just got offered Jonathan Stewart for Jason Witten. I have Celek and Rudolph, so I am otherwise passable at TE. Basically, I just wanted to know what the current opinion of JStew is from a dynasty perspective. I can afford to hold him for a year or two.

I need to make a decision by the end of the day. Thanks in advance, guys.

C.J. Spiller(Buf – RB) faces a tough SF Def, may not be 100% and really let me down last week.
Jonathan Stewart(Car – RB) faces a tough Sea Def, may not be 100% and alsoet me down last week.
Mark Ingram(NO – RB)Has been dog poo so far this yr.

PPR League:

Start 2 RBs: Forte and CJ Spiller OR JBattle. DMartin on Bye #5. Also, just offered to me was AMorris for JGraham. I picked up SChandler last night specifically as a Bye week replacement. Tough “trade offer”. Expecting a bit more for JGraham, no? A package perhaps.

Start 1 QB: KKolb over ASmith? Romo on Bye (I actually believe he will come around soon as crazy as that may sound). I would need to drop ASmith to snag KKolb which I can do today.

Def: Start either BAL or CIN? Dropped PHI yesterday for BAL. PHI not showing much PPR life!

Txs in advance.

RB – Forte & Spiller (watch the injury reports & make sure he’s active). I don’t expect Battle to get many carries going forward.

Trade offer – Umm, no. You should get a lot more for Graham. Don’t rush into a trade just to cover a bye week or two.

QB – Smith

Jordy Nelson(GB – WR)
Antonio Brown(Pit – WR)
Brandon Lloyd(NE – WR)
Brian Hartline(Mia – WR)
plan on starting the above 4 for week 5 standard scoring non ppr. Would you play it the same way? Am tempted to sit Lloyd as he could be going against Champ this week and in the blowout against the Bills was really a non-factor until the late garbage score.
Randall Cobb(GB – WR)with Jennings out could see more touches.
Leonard Hankerson(Was – WR) lead the Skins with targets last week, might be some fireworks against the Falcons.

PPR. Long play and 100+ yard bonuses

Pick one to play alongside JC:
Willis
Tate

Pick a TE to fill in for Hernandez again:
D. Allen
Craig Stevens
Z. Miller
Fasano
Marcedes
K. Davis

Reply to  Jared Davis

Tate might have turf toe, so he is out. Jackson is a much better talent than McGahee, so I would go with him. New England isn’t exactly an easy run defense for McGahee and Denver will probably be playing catchup for most of the game.

At TE I would go with Marcedes Lewis since the Bears’ cover 2 defense tends to open up the middle a bit. He isn’t much better than Fasano or Davis though.

Hi Guys,

Ridley or Mathews this week? Both apparently have another RB to worry about. I played Mathews last week and that didn’t work out very well, but am leaning that way with the New Orleans matchup. My RB1 is Foster. I also have J. Stew and Ben Tate. I might consider Tate here but it sounds as if we won’t be 100%?

Also what is your take on the Ridley and Mathews issue with their competing backs? Short term problem or long term issue?

Thanks for your thoughts,

The Vich

Admin
Reply to  Thane Obijeski

RB – Mathews

I really don’t think Battle is much competition in San Diego. He could vulture a TD here or there, but unless Mathews is hurt and unable to play, I don’t think he gets on the field much going forward.

Ridley will probably always have some level of competition in New England. Depending on the week, opponent, and gameplan, he may not even be the lead back on a certain week. I’d feel much more comfortable w/ Mathews than Ridley.

As far as this week goes, Stewart has a tough matchup & Tate may not play due to turf toe.
