The weekly lineup advice column has become one of the most popular features on DLF. Last week, we had nearly 100 different lineup questions submitted and answered each and every one, as promised.
So, all you have to do again this week is post your question at the bottom of this article. Â We’ll give you our answers in real time so you don’t have to wait any longer than you have to.
Just make sure to indicate if your league is a PPR league, and if there are any other unique scoring requirements.
Let’s do this thing!

We are PPR with return yardage.
Nicks or Knox ?
Thanks for this great resource for discussion for people like us.
Finally
Nice, two late Sunday night players head-to-head. The return yardage helps Knox, but he has limited opportunities with that and doesn’t always return kicks.
I’ve hitched my wagon to Nicks this year and have to really continue to do so.
I have to believe we see the Week One Nicks here again shortly and I like his scoring potential much better than Knox.
I say Hakeem.
Definitely Hakeem Nikcs
Need to pick 2 out of Nicks, Sims-Walker and Maclin this week, PPR league. Do you think MSW needs to be benched until futher notice, or is a likely “playing entire way from behind” matchup with Indy enough for you to roll the dice again with MSW?
I’m thinking Nicks is the only must-start of the two, and Maclin has been very hot, therefore I’m leaning those two. Thoughts?
I’d definitely go with Nicks and Maclin. MSW and the entire Jags offense has been horrendous.
Nicks and Maclin for sure.
Nicks and Maclin with no hesitation…
Ugh, the injury bug is all over my team. WR Andre Johnson, RB Steven Jackson, and Javid Best.
Assuming Best and Jackson are not playing….
Who’s my flex out of this group? (Non-PPR standard yardage format 1 per 10.)
TE Shockey (I can start 2 TE’s-my other is Miller), WR Michael Crabtree, or RB Ryan Torrain?
It’s a terrible trio I know…but it’s where I’m at.
I would go with crabtree. I think with the new offensive coordinator they will open it up and him and davis will be involved.
Assuming Best is out, I’d take a crack at Torain. I think his upside is higher then the others, and he’ll at least get a few carries. Crabtree and that entire SF offense is still a mess, and it’s going to take a while for it to improve under the new OC.
That said, it looks like all three of those guys will be a game time decision, so at least one of them may play.
Looks like you’ve lucked out on Best at this point. Otherwise, I’d gamble on Torain.
i have as RB’s M.Turner, C.Benson, MJD, T.Jones, Forsett. my WR’s is C.Johnson, Bowe, and Gaffney. Who should I trade to get some help in WR? PPR league.
thank you for your help
You cannot possibly sell low on MJD now, Turner and the O-line in front of him are amazing and in a weak division, benson will be the main option now that Palmer apparently can’t throw, Jones or Forsett. Jones you can sell high now, and Forsett still, even in Week 4 still has not cemented the top job. I would package those
Jones for whatever you can possibly get. Forsett will probably get more interest and would be your next best bet.
Jones and Forsett seem to be the most likely assets to move, however, things may change if it’s a dynasty league. If so, I’d start looking at moving Benson if you’re out of the running.
10 Team Non-PPR
Injuries killing me at RB. I have Rice, Moreno, and Jackson. Please pick 2 RB, 1 WR, and 1 W/R flex from this list.
Rice vs PIT (plans to start)
McFadden vs HOU
Green-Ellis vs MIA
Ricky Williams vs NE
McGahee vs PIT
Nicks vs CHI
Welker vs MIA
Floyd vs ARI
Murphy vs HOU (I don’t have him, but he’s available for pick up on waivers. I’d have to drop one of the above for him)
Mcfadden is hot!
Welker and Floyd.
Rice, McFadden
Welker and Floyd
I’d actually go with Rice, McFadden, Welker and Nicks this week.
I am in trouble this week with AP on a bye and Ray Rice injured (still might be playing him). But for my flex, would you go with Laurence Maroney vs. Ten or John Kuhn vs. Detroit? Thanks
Maroney knowshown will be a no show.
Yep, gotta go with Maroney
No question you have to take Maroney between those two. I have them both as sneaky plays this week, but Maroney looks to have a better chance at touches.
In a .5 ppr league. Should I start E. Royal, H. Ward or J. Gaffney as my #3 receiver?
Ward
I’d go with Royal. I don’t like the Ward matchup this week.
I like Royal as well, though the Bronco WRs are the toughest group to project at the moment.
Everyone says “don’t bench your stars, they’ll have a big game and you’ll feel dumb” but to me a star is somebody who comes out and gets the points each week, MJD and Colston haven’t been doing that.
I may consider swapping MJD for Murphy in flex if Murphy’s injury hinders him and b/c MJD has done well against the colts but of my eligible players these guys have been the winners (Driver’s been consistent too but I like the Maclin, Murphy, and Lloyd matchups more I think).
What are your thoughts? PPR league
Bradford QB
Maclin WR
Lloyd WR
Hillis RB
Gronkowski TE
Murphy W/R
Reed K
Pittsburgh DEF
Bench:
MJD
Driver
Colston
No way you can take MJD out. Stick with him you will be crying when he has 100 yards rushing and TD.
I’d still start MJD, every week.
Would you be thinking this way if MJD had bad weeks in say, weeks 8,9, and 10? His three week struggles are magnified because it’s the start of the season, but you can’t afford to jump ship yet.
Assuming S Jax is out, who do like as flex out of this group (no PPR, no return yds)? Thanks
K Darby v Sea
Snelling v SF
Gresham @ Cle
Shipley @ Cle
Crabtree @ Atl
Darby
No PPR pushes me to Darby, but I’m not excited about it. Close #2 is Crabtree this week.
That’s a rough crew. I’ll take Darby in the hopes the Rams get close to the goal line at some point.
10 Teams; Non-PPR
Please pick 1 RB, 2 WRs and 1 DEF from this list.
Addai @ JAC
R. Brown vs NEP
Snelling vs SF
Fitzgerald @ SDC
Malcom Floyd vs ARI
DeSean vs WAS
Marshall vs NEP
Nicks vs CHI
Bengals @ CLE
Dolphins vs NEP
Ravens @ PIT
Thanks!
Brown always does great against NE.
DeSean & Marshall.
If Addai is playing, he’s an easy start, if not … go with Brown.
Marshal and Jackson at WR.
CIN at DEF.
Brown, DeSean, Marshall and CIN.
The RB is tough, but I’ll go with Brown this week. I think Manning will gut that pass defense of the Jags this week.
Am I crazy to start Spiller @ NYJ over Demaryius Thomas @ TEN as my flex? 25 return yards = 1 point + points for return TD’s. .5 PPR.
No, never no who is going to catch the ball in Denver.
I’d still start Thomas.
(PPR league) I’m starting Calvin, Djax, Mike Wallace, Floyd and need a 5th… Naanee (I have him penciled in), M. Williams (SEA), S. Williams, or Garcon (though I doubt he plays), its also possible to play Ivory or Mike Goodson.
Thanks!
If Pierre dont play which I doubt he will I would go with Ivory.
I read Ladell Betts will be the lead back ahead of Ivory should thomas sit out. You might want to verify it first.
Can’t play Ivory with Betts expected to tote the rock if Thomas is down. I’d roll the dice with S. Williams in ARI due to Breaston being out.
I trust Rivers more than Anderson, and that gives the edge to Naanee over Williams to me..but it’s close.
RB week 4 suggestion:
must start two. suggestions?
Frank Gore vs ATL
Ahmad Bradshaw vs Bears
Ryan Matthews(injury healing) vs ARZ
Jerome Harrison vs. CIN
Gore & Bradshaw.
Gore and Bradshaw
I’m going to change it up. Bradshaw and Gore. Heh.
Standard scoring.
Flex spot:
Olsen @NYG, Royal @TEN, Naanee vs ARI, or Mason @ PIT.
Cheers.
Tough one, Olsen. Giants secondary stinks and linebackers are awful, Cutler will blow Olsen up.
Thanks for the reply.
If it’s PPR, go with Royal. No PPR, go with Olsen.
Agreed
Need 2 WR’s in a non-ppr league.
M.Wallace(Pit)
M. Sims-Walker(Jac)
Thanks! Love the site.
You listed 2 wide recievers, but if you have to choose one of the two then Wallace.
Yes, only need one, sorry about that!
Wallace
Wallace for sure. The Jags are a mess and MSW is as inconsistent as ever.
Tough spot this week with byes and injuries. 1pt/10 yards, 6pt/TD, no PPR. Need to start two RBs, two WRs and one flex out of the following:
A. Foster
S. Jackson
B. Wells
K. Darby
L. Betts
M. Floyd
J. Knox
T. Owens
Starting Foster at RB1 and Floyd at WR1 but not sure about other spots. Thanks.
Wells
Darby
Knox
RB Foster
RB Wells
WR Floyd
WR Owens
FL Knox if you get return yardage, Betts if not.
Foster
Floyd

Alright gents, Ima a throw a few curve balls at ya. …if you’ve been answering questions for over 20 mins, i encourage you to take a potty break, grab a coffee, whatever, but lets get focused for this one.
I’ve got a couple Dynasty teams, and few headscratchers to sort out.
1- I’m leaning towards starting C. Wells over D-Willy & Forsett, despite their match ups (both NOS & STL looked god awful vs the run). You with me or against me? (ps. i know Jeff’s a Forsett hater)
2- Have to pick between Lance “look at me ball” Moore or DHB against HOU’s pathetic 2ndary. Who you guys feeling?
3- Forsett vs Matthews. No, not career wise, but this weekend. Who would you bet your life on?
4- Lastly, and know that you’ll be judged for eternity on this one question, I’m actually thinking i’m going to sit Crabtree and play SEA’s Mike Williams. I do believe that in the coming weeks Crabby will do a 180 and be a weekly starter, but not this week. Mike Williams has been very productive when he was healthy (he’s injuries in the last 2 weeks clearly affected his play). Hass looks at him almost every play. ….but i would like to hear your take.
1. SD has had a pretty good run defense, and they will not fear the pass from ARI, so I think Wells will not have a terrific day there. The CAR offense is a mess and despite the fact that DWill will be facing a soft NO run defense, I think they will struggle. not to mention possible carries by JStew. Forsett is the main RB in SEA and is facing a weak STL run defense. Forsett is your guy there.
2. DHB will get more consistent looks. Not wild about either, but DHB gets the nod there.
3. Never bet my life on anything NFL. It’s all a crapshoot. that said – Matthews.
4. I do not share your optimism re: Crabs. I think it may take a few weeks for the new OC to get him going. Plus Alex Smith sucks. Go with Williams and hope for the best.
Good luck!
Hah, ya i wouldn’t bet my life on anything NFL either.
Regarding Crabby, ya i was a little vague, but i agree. when i said a 180 i should have specified that meant down the road ala mid season. I don’t think he’s ever gonna live up to his draft billing this year, but more productive when things get back on track over there (god willing)
1. I’ll never live this down but I’d start Forsett. I’d say DWill if I thought he’d have a chance to for more than 10 carries but CAR is bad, bad, bad and will be out of contention quickly vs. N.O. On top of that, Goodson is seeing a lot of 3rd down duty. Take Forsett and pray … at least until they add Lynch via trade. 🙂
2. Moore – Easy choice for me here. especially if you get return yardage.
3. I’d bet your life on Mathews given that choice.
4. All eternity huh? I’ll take Crabtree and offer up my soul for eternity.
I just took a break and returned for you.
1.) Wells for me without much thought
2.) Moore for sure. DHB isn’t close to starting for me in virtually any format.
3.) Mathews
4.) The new OC should use Crabtree more, but I want to see it first before recommending him. I’d play it safer with Williams.
Standard scoring league. Need to fill RB2 and Flex from the following players:
Darren McFadden, DeAngelo Williams, Ricky Williams, Terrell Owens, Chris Cooley.
Looking forward to what you have to say, just stumbled upon your site via fantasysportscentral. Think I’ll kick the tires around these parts…
Mcfaddens hot
D Williams.
Thanks for stopping by Art! I definitely recommend you check out the forums, we have a ton of very experienced, knowledgeable folks there who are always willing to share their wisdom. That said;
I’d go with McFadden and DWill (though I dont think he’ll have a huge day, but better than Ricky), and Ricky in the flex. If it were PPR I’d probably take Cooley instead. close call on that one.
Thanks Art! Definitely show your support for what we do by signing up on the forum and give back to the community.
DMc and DWill
The two to pick here are certainly DWill and DMC. Thanks for kicking the tires…we don’t have too many who do that and don’t come back. Hopefully you’ll do the same!
non PPR,all TD’s 6 points, plus yardage .My team Ray Rice,Ryan Mattews,Justin Forsett,Calvin Johnson,Santana Moss,Louis Murphy.I need the best five out of these six,or who do becnch this week. Thanks.
Sit Murphy. Definitely starting all those RB’s. Megatron and Moss have better upside, though that Detroit offense is worrisome. Good luck!
Yep, non PPR, sit Murphy.
Call me crazy, but I don’t play Murphy, either. If he was 100%, I’d play him over Forsett.
We have a 14 team, 2 qb league. I have Cutler and Derek Anderson. I think Anderson will be gone in a couple more weeks and I’m lookin at someone to help out the rest of the season. Possibly someone on injury? M. Stafford, maybe Kolb if Vick goes down. T. Jackson with Minn? Lots of questions with no obvious answers. What QB in Cleveland, Seneca Wallace looks good but DelHomme is coming back? Is Fitzpatrick going to be ok in Buff? Who is Garrards replacement and could he get some quality numbers. Is Kerry Collins a viable option or has Vince Young played well enough to hold on to the job in Ten.? Oh Yea, AZ rookie QB is already taken.
Henne
Orton
Need a better idea of what your options actually are. Who is still on the ww, are you looking to trade, etc? if you can provide some specific names, that would be great. Thanks!
PPR League
We start QB 2 RB 2 WR Flex RB/WR
Who do I start to go with Foster, Wayne, & Floyd?
Need 1 RB form Hillis, Bradshaw, P Thomas(Game Time Decision)
and at Fkex do i go WR (MURPHY, KNOX) or one of the other RB’s.
Leaning towards sitting Thomas because of injury and rolling w Hillis and Murphy. Bradshaw has tough draw this week.
Thoughts?
I think you are right on the money.
CHI has been terrific in run defense so far this year, allowing a league lowest 2.1 YPC agv. Go with Hillis vs. CIN.
HOU has had about the worst pass D in the league so far this year, so go with Murphy vs. HOU.
Tough choice but I still take Bradshaw at home in a PPR. That CHI D is tough but I still play him. Nothing wrong with going with your gut either and starting Hillis, it’s close.
Roll with Murphy, we’ve liked him for a long time (and I’ve been flamed for it) and he’s emerging even more for it.
Bradshaw and Hillis. I think you just ride it out with Hillis and stop asking questions until his production subsides.
Sounds good.
In a PPR would you start Ahmad Bradshaw or Matt Forte?
Close call there. But I’d probably go with Forte vs the Giants, especially in a PPR league.
I’m going against my co-partner here and saying Bradshaw all the way, at home. Bradshaw is good out of the backfield and Jacobs is an after-thought. Chester Taylor is starting to be worked in more on passing downs in CHI.
I’d go with Bradshaw as well. Forte is becoming a little lost in that offense. Let’s see what happens this week, I think it’s a key one for him.

QB: M. Schaub @OAK or M. Ryan vs SF
It’s hard to sit Schaub but this week the matchups are screaming in my face and Ryan has actually done almost as well this year so far. Was leaning Ryan.
RB: J. Stewart @NO or S. Greene @BUF or B. Green-Ellis @MIA
With ADP and Charles out I have a tough decision to make for my RB2. I don’t like any of my options, J-Stew and Greene have done next to nothing this year but I have almost no faith in Pat’s RBs.
WR/TE: M. Sims-Walker vs IND or J. Gresham @CLE or G. Olsen @NYG
Hard to find a 4th receiver with Bowe, Dez, and M. Williams on Bye so I had been thinking maybe starting 2 TEs this week. MSW does play at home which could be good but he is just as likely to lay a goose egg for me. Was leaning towards Gresham.
Appreciate the help guys!
I wouldn’t sit Schaub unless Johnson doesn’t play, in which case I would start Ryan at home vs. a questionable SF secondary.
Green-Ellis on Monday night … none are great choices this week. Green-Ellis may get 20 touches. I agree with you though, I don’t like the games that are played with the NE RBs.
I like the Olsen matchup in CHI and I wouldn’t sit MSW unless I had better alternatives, even over a TE. But I understand what you are saying. I traded MSW this year.
QB = I think you have to play Schaub. Don’t overthink it.
RB = Green-Ellis gives you the best shot at touches
WR = You probably HAVE to go with MSW, but let’s hope you don’t need him.
In a ppr league, T.O. or Beanie Wells as a flex start?
I have a hunch about T.O. this week and until Beanie gets more consistent, he’s sitting in a PPR league where I have other options.
Depends on what you are going for. I’m not sold on Wells, but I think it’s safe to say he’ll definitely get some carries this week, though probably not a ton and he wont have a lot of running room against the chargers D.
TO probably has more upside, but has a much lower floor. So…
Safe pick – Wells
Upside play – TO
I think you just roll with Wells. I think Owens could have a breakout, too, but Palmer can’t be trusted at the moment. If he didn’t have PALMER on the back of his jersey, and no capable replacements on the roster, the leash would be getting short.
He’s looked that bad.
My league (non-PPR) favors WRs (pt for 10yds) over RBs (pt for 20yds). Please pick two for my flex spots:
A.Johnson
H.Ward
M.Wallace
J.Knox
Beanie Wells
Thanks!
Have to go with Wallace and Johnson (if he starts). If you get return yardage, start Knox if Johnson is hurt.
Interesting scoring system. I’d go with them in this order:
AJ
Knox
Wallace
1/2 PPR 18 roster dynasty 12 team
1. Pick one: Pierre Thomas or Addai
2. Pick two: Legedu Naanee, Mario Manningham, Knox
3. Pick one: Ryan Matthews or Jonathan Stewart
Thanks fellas, you guys rock!!!!
Thanks for the comment Mac! Addai as Thomas looks to be out. Addai may be out as well, watch the Sunday morning injury report (pick up Hart).
If you get return yardage, start Knox. If not, Manningham.
Matthews – at least until there is a running back sighting in CAR.
1. Thomas certainly looks out.
2. Knox and Naanee
3. Mathews for sure.
Hernandez or Zach Miller? (opponent has brady as QB)
Ronnie Brown, Cedric B., A. Foster, or Tolbert? Need to start 2….concerned about Cedric B. against Cleveland D
WR3 Gaffney or Jacoby Jones
Hernandez unless you feel you are an underdog this week … in which case you need points and have to roll with Miller. Foster and Benson if it’s me but if you have a gut feeling about Benson vs. CLE, start Brown … it’s very close.
Foster, Benson, and Gaffney for me right now unless Andre is out. If that happens, I’d take Jones over Gaffney.
Hernandez at the TE. It’s always tough when your opponent has the QB, but in the end, you need to play the players you expect to score the most.
12 team Dynasty league; PPR.
Question #1 I need to start 3 WR’s, going up against my hated rival, must win. Focus gentleman I need this one bad!
MSW
Ward
Stephen Williams
Mark Clayton
Naanee
Austin is on bye:(
12 team Dynasty league; PPR
Question #2 Matt Schaub or Bruce Gradkowski?
Probably have to go with MSW, Williams and Clayton. Williams is starting in place of Breaston it seems and Naanee is just too streaky. Ward is going up against the Ravens and is looking a step slower this year.
1.) Ward, Williams and Clayton for me.
2.) Don’t outcoach yourself. Take Schaub.
I have three starting dilemmas in my PPR League.
Starting as my RB2 Peyton Hillis or Brandon Jackson vs. the Lions.
Starting Brandon Lloyd or Jabar Gaffney as my WR3
and with Jason Witten on bye whether to play Cooley or Zach Miller.
Thanks guys if you can help.
Tough call but you start Hillis until Jackson looks like a starter. I still prefer Gaffney over Lloyd. I’ll take Cooley over Miller.
1.) Hillis for sure. Jackson looks terrible.
2.) Tough, but go for broke with Lloyd.
3.) I like Zach Miller as the best option of those two. Gradkowski looks for him early and often.
Possible rb starters this wk Rice(inj.), McCoy, Spiller, and B. Jackson. Should I drop B. Jackson and pick up BJ Green Ellis who is available now? Help
Not sure how many you need or if this is a dynasty league or not. You’re starting McCoy and probably Rice if he’s playing, you can’t bench him, even against the Steelers. I would play Ellis over Jackson but do you not have anyone else to drop besides Jackson?
I think it’s safe to take BGE over Jackson. It’s apparent that Jackson is simply a below average runner. I’d rank your runners this way:
McCoy
Rice
BGE
Spiller (if return yardage is counted)
Jackson
Oddly enough, the lineup choices for my dynasty team this week are all no-doubters (in the case of this roster, that’s both a good and bad thing). But I do have a bit of a dilemma in my redraft league. I’m going to be out of town and unable to monitor game-time decisions on Sunday, so I need to make the call early on Jahvid Best. It’s sounding like he’ll play, but the matchup and his likely limitations have me thinking I should just plug in Beanie Wells and get out of town. Would you agree?
While we’re at it, your thoughts on two WRs from among:
• Larry Fitzgerald
• Hakeem Nicks
• Wes Welker
• Jeremy Maclin
In this league it’s:
6 pts for a TD scored
1 pt for every 20 yds rushing
1 pt for every 20 yds receiving
NO PPR!
Boy that’s a tough situation. I’m not wild about Well’s chances, as mentioned in previous posts. I suppose it depends upon your risk threshold and how likely you think you are to win the game with your other starters. If you think you have a good shot at winning, and just want a nice safe play for a some decent points, start Wells. If you feel like you really need some serious production at that spot in order to win, then swing for the fences and start Best.
Oh, and Nicks and (gulp!) Fitz. Hope the ARI passing game can get back on track!
In a 12 team dynasty, PPR league and have the opportunity to acquire Ryan Mathews for my 1st round pick in next year’s Rookie Draft. I have solid RB’s (Steven Jackson, Rashard Mendenhall, Matt Forte, Justin Forsett). Would you make this trade?
In a heartbeat.
depends on other needs are you hurting for wr and need the spot to up grade at wr, i think you have to look at you team as hole an see if it makes you a better team or if it just makes your run game deeper.
It’s not even worth thinking about. You should have ALREADY done that deal.
Pretty standard scoring format, two questions:
Ward vs Bal or Braylon Edwards vs Buf?
Brandon Jackson vs Det or Matt Forte vs NYG?
Thanks
Edwards and Forte
Forte for sure and Edwards just because of Ward’s tough matchup.
I’m in a non-ppr 14-team league.
Should I start Crabtree or T.O. this week?
That’s like asking to choose between Gonorrhea and Syphilis. TO has been marginally less sucky, so there you go. Be safe out there!
T.O.
Owens for sure. Again, I need to see something from Crabtree. If it doesn’t happen this week with a new OC, I’m seriously concerned.
In a ppr league, which 3 do I start?
Welker vs MIA, Floyd vs AZ, White vs SF or Clayton vs SEA
I’d sit Clayton this week with those options.
Absolutely.
12 Team league non-PPR. Scoring as follows QB: 1 pt for every 20 yds passing RB/WR/TE 1 pt for every 10 yds Touchdowns (QB/RB/WR/TE): 0-9 yds: 6 pts 10-39 yds: 9 pts 40+ yds: 12 pts. Field Goals: 0-39 yds: 3 pts 40-49 yds: 5 pts 50-59 yds: 10 pts 60+ yds: 12 pts Return Yards: 2 points for 40, and then 1 point for every 10 thereafter
Start 1 QB, any combination of 5 (maximum of 3 RB’s, and TE is not required), 1 K
Who do you recommend?
QB: Cutler (NYG); Ryan (SF)
RB: Mendenhall (BAL), P. Thomas (CAR), C. Wells (SDC), F. Jackson (NYJ)
WR: M. Clayton (SEA), M. Floyd (ARI), S. Smith NYG (CHI), Mike Thomas (IND), M. Williams SEA (STL)
K: N. Rackers (OAK), N. Kaeding (ARI)
A lot going on there. I think you still have to start Cutler. Don’t like your RB choices at all this week. Probably have to roll with Mendy and Wells and then Clayton, Floyd and Smith.
I’d go with Rackers.
Cutler, Mendenhall, Wells, S Smith, Clayton and Floyd…and I didn’t even read Jeff’s before posting this. We agree 100%.
Which two should I start: Ward, Royal or Gaffney? In a .5 ppr league.
I don’t like starting two WRs on the same team, especially if they’re marginal. Go with Ward and Royal. It’s close for Gaffney over Ward though.
I agree you can’t start two from the same team. It’s a total toss up between Royal and Gaffney. Flip a coin and hope for the best. I’d probably chose Royal in a .5 ppr with the combination of Ward.

Need a Flex starter. 0.5 PPR, and return yards ( 1pt/30yds)
This seems to be a no brainer, but any input would be great.
Ladanian vs. Buffalo
Greene vs. Buffalo
Crabtree vs. ATL
James Jones vs. Detriot
Amendola vs. Seahawks
P.S. – I could afford to roll with a sleeper, but I am leaning towards the safe LT play.
L.T. – Go with the safe play.
Tomlinson looks 28 again. It’s not a mirage.
Thanks guys. Lets hope LT gets 100 and a score!
LT led the way to victory for me! 3-1 and feeling good!
12 team PPR, 15yds rushing/receiving = 1pt. TDs = 6pts.
I need to start 4 players of the following (1-2 RB, 1-3 WR)
RBs
Benson, Cedric @CLE
Bradshaw, Ahmad vs CHI
Foster, Arian @OAK
Greene, Shonn @BUF
WRs
White, Roddy vs SFO
Maclin, Jeremy vs WAS
Bess, Davone vs NEP
Crabtree, Michael @ATL
Williams, Stephen @SDC
I have White, Maclin, Foster, and Benson Penciled in right now. But see a few tantalizing opportunities here.
Green Vs an atrocious Buff D.
Williams opposite Fitz(in press coverage).
Bess has been solid.
Crabtree likely to be targeted more with a new offensive coach.
And Maclin only catching a few catches a game (granted each week he’s gotten a td, but that can’t last forever, can it?)
Whattaya think?
P.S. I’m starting white no matter what.
Benson, Foster, White and Maclin.
Yes, I think this one is pretty straightforward. Bradshaw vs. Benson is the only real tough one for me. I’d stick with Benson.
I am in a ppr league. 10pt bonus over 100 yards and another 10pt bonus over 150 yards. Need help with RBs and WRs. RBs need 2 between Drew, Foster, Forte and S. Jackson. WRs need 2 between Collie, DeSean Jackson, Calvin Johnson and Floyd. I also need one of the remaining for my flex. Thank You.
MJD and Foster. Nice WRs. Jackson and Johnson. I’d go with Collie in the FLex.
MJD and Foster and no-brainers.
Make a statment and go with Collie and DeSean as your WRs with Megatron as your flex. Collie’s been super and Garcon is out again.

Wouldn’t good advice for this guy start by telling him to drop Vince Young, Jeremy Shockey and Todd Heap, none of them have much if any more value then the players that will be available from your wire. Then, after Tony Romo’s bye week drop Orton too and get active on the waiver wire. Pick up some help at receiver to replace Mason. Not knowing who is available in your free agent pool makes it hard to recommend who to pick up but I have a hunch there’s some talent there. Do a little research and you should come up with a list of names. When you need to fill in your TE pick up the best available player from the free agent pool who also has a favorable matchup.
First I’d want to know how many at each position you need to start each week. Shockey and Heap I have no problem dropping, but Vince Young will have value again and it is crazy to only have one player at a postion like QB with all the injuries throuhout the year at that position. I think DROPPING Orton is absolutely crazy. He has some tough matchups in the next couple weeks, but a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way. He is currently a top 10 QB and I’m a firm believer of never dropping a player with trade value.
At the risk of jinxing myself, I disagree. QB’s are some of the least injured players that’s why someone like Farve can play 10 million games straight. In a ten team redraft league Young has absolutly no value and even if Orton ends up being the 10th ranked q.b. it means he has very little to no value in a 10 team league. Be brave enough to play the matchups when your qb goes down and your bench will be richer for it. Someone like Cassell or Gradkowsi (A.F.C. west brothers) who are almost certainly on the wire would be better to plug and play with a favorable matchup then Orton with a less favorable matchup. It’s a strategy I’ve used for years and it’s never failed me.
For WRs, start Boldin and Smith. You have nice RBs, start them in the order you have listed. I would even consider moving one of the last two RBs for a stud WR.
Green-Ellis or Jon Stewart?
D. Bowe or Stephen Williams?
DHB or Torrain? PPR
Green Ellis
Bowe
DHB – Since it is PPR
Green-Ellis, Bowe, and Torain. I just don’t trust DHB in any format. At all.
i have to start 3 this week who should it be? mike wallace andre johnson eddie royal devone bess danny amondola
Wallace, Johnson and Royal. If AJ doesn’t play, Amendola.
Yeah, Bess and Amendola are your last two. I’d play Amendola over Bess as well. Bradford looks pretty solid.
Dynasty PPR League
If Andre Johnson does not play, I need to choose a fill-in. I’m already starting Calvin Johnson and Jeremy Maclin, but who should I plug in for a WR3?
Kenny Britt or James Jones
I would go with James Jones
Tough call with AJ. Hopefully he plays for you. I’d say Jones as well, but those are two bad options.
Currently 3-0, first place in 12-team redraft league.
3 situations I need advice on:
1. Eli Manning or Mark Sanchez (25 yards = 1 point, TD = 6)
2. Should I sneak Naanee in over Maclin or Murphy? (assuming all are healthy and playing)
3. I’ve offered Pierre Thomas/Maclin to the owner of Rice/Calvin J. – he’s considering it. Is that a decent trade? I don’t want to be accused of trade-rape…
Thanks guys!
Congrats!
1. Manning
2. Maclin
3. It’s not trade rape if the other coach feels he is making his team better, even if it may seem lopsided. I would certainly do that deal if I were you, without a thought. League may shake their heads but you never know in the end how it will turn out.
1. Sanchez
2. Maclin
3. That’s horrible for the other guy. It’s great for you, but expect your league mates to be both angry and jealous.
12 team Dynasty PPR – 1/2 per reception
Brees at home agnst Carolina or Rivers at home agnst Arizona? Again Brees is usually a no brainer but Rivers is outscoring him in my league albeit not by much. Rivers is 2nd in scoring, Brees 8th.
I have Ronnie Brown and Jahvid Best going at RB.
At WR I have Fitz and Brandon Marshall going. I need one from SS-Carolina, Britt, TO, Shipley I really don’t like the situation in Carolina – what do you think?
Brees still gets the start.
Ronnie Brown.
I don’t like it either, but I’d still start him.
The New Orleans offense is due, as is Brees. I’d stick with him, but lucky you to have them both.
I’d actually still take Best.
Carolina is a mess, but Smith has the best chance to score of those you have.
Sleeper city here…unfortunately… with my main guys on bye.
Need 2 of these gents in a non-ppr league…
John Kuhn vs. Detroit
Brandon Jackson vs. Detroit
Ryan Torain @ Philly
Chris Ivory vs. Car
Ladell Betts vs. Car
Currently plan on Kuhn and Torain playing. Almost want to start both Jackson & Kuhn to with the hopes I get at least one TD out of my backfield vs. Detroit.
Thoughts…
I still start Jackson over Kuhn this week. Jackson does well within the 5 yard line. Torain in PHI is okay, not great.
Yikes. I’d probably go with Betts and Torain there.
Who do you think this week? Eli vs Chicago or Bradford against Seattle?
The book of Eli. Better start, definitely a better movie.
Manning is still due, though Bradford is playing better than his numbers indicate.
