The rookie landscape changes quickly every year. As such, we take a few different opportunities to update the rookie draft cheat sheet throughout the off-season. Since we still have some leagues drafting this weekend and next, we felt it was a good time to release our latest (and last) version leading up to the season.

Feel free to download this exclusive tool. Again, this downloadable rookie draft sheet is yours to use exclusively as a premium subscriber of DLF.

Keep in mind the following:

cheat_sheet_15_v3

1.) The rankings used are for common scoring systems and lineup requirements.

2.) The rankings are set for PPR leagues (adjust accordingly for non-PPR leagues, but the list wouldn’t be dramatically different).

3.) We did not add any IDP rankings into the top 50

You’ll find deep positional rankings, as well as an overall top 50. Remember, you can always check our rankings for the most updated information, as this rookie draft sheet is simply created as a snapshot in time.

A few of the highlighted changes to this version are below:

  • Ameer Abdullah’s strong preseason has vaulted him past TJ Yeldon as our RB3 and taken him all the way up to #7 overall
  • Kevin White’s injury, though not a significant long-term concern, has allowed DeVante Parker to overtake him as our WR2.
  • Other risers include David Cobb, Matt Jones, Josh Robinson, Cameron Artis-Payne, Karlos Williams, Devin Funchess, Tyler Lockett, Sammie Coates and Ty Montgomery.
  • Fallers include Jaelen Strong, DeAndre Smelter, Jay Ajayi and Mike Davis

Keep in mind many of the players who have moved down the charts haven’t fallen dramatically. The biggest concern of that group is likely Ajayi, but we’ll see how things turn out when the cuts come in. A few players (Montgomery, Funchess, Karlos Williams) get a nice boost because of some unfortunate injuries that give them an early chance (or even a chance at all) to shine.

Enjoy!
