If you read last week’s daily league bargains, you saw Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tre Mason and Dan Herrons names and those three helps people win big on FanDuel. Now let’s highlight some of the best deals for this week so you can be the next big winner.

Keep in mind that these suggestions are made for GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool) tournaments with more than 50 participants where players are looking for bargains to fill out their lineups after already inserting their “studs” for the week. Many of them are risky plays and shouldn’t necessarily be considered in head to head or 50/50 games.

Quarterback

Eli Manning, QB NYG

I was a big Manning ($7,300) supporter a week ago and he kind of laid an egg against the Jaguars, throwing for just 247 yards and a single touchdown. This week he gets another prime matchup though against the Titans and I’m not jumping off the bandwagon due to last week’s dud. Tennessee just gave up 358 passing yards and a half-dozen touchdown passes to Ryan Fitzpatrick and if he can do it, so can Manning. New York’s offense should put up numbers against the Titans and Manning should be fired up to put his poor game against the Jags in the rearview mirror. I’m betting on Eli for a big bounce back effort.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB HOU

For those who think the numbers that Fitzpatrick ($7,200) put up last week have less to do about the Tennessee defense and more to do with the quarterback carving them up, Fitz is still listed at a bargain price this week and gets to face the Jaguars.

Jacksonville may have shut down Manning last week, but they still have a weakness in the secondary. After his impressive showing a week ago, Fitzpatrick may be highly owned so players may not be getting the advantage they’re looking for by going with him and personally I prefer Manning in the price range. That said, 358 yards and six touchdowns are hard to ignore. It’s also nearly impossible to repeat.

Other Options: Zach Mettenberger ($6,800) if he plays and Shaun Hill ($6,700) because the Washington secondary is dreadful.

Running Back

Rashad Jennings, RB NYG

[inlinead]Due to his price being where it is, many may think Jennings ($7,400) shouldn’t be eligible to be a bargain. However, when you look at his workload as well as how awful the Titans have been when stopping the run lately, he absolutely qualifies as such.

Since returning from injury a few weeks ago, Jennings has averaged 26 touches per game and 15.9 fantasy points per week. Meanwhile, in their last five games the Tennessee’s defense has allowed 743 yards from scrimmage (148 per game) and eight total touchdowns to number one tailbacks. As long as Jennings is healthy enough to play, it’s safe to pencil him in for 125-plus yards and at least one score. He’s listed as the #14 highest priced running back this week but has a good chance to finish as a top-five player at the position.

Isaiah Crowell, RB CLE

His tough matchup a week ago against the Bills netted Crowell ($6,500) just 29 yards on 17 carries but it kept his price low for a tasty matchup this week against the Colts. Indy is giving up more than 150-yards per game from scrimmage to tailbacks on the season and has allowed 12 rushing touchdowns to the position which is among the worst in the league.

Much like when he put the ball on the turf against the Bills, Terrence West seems to have let go of his grip on a share of the work out of the Browns’ backfield. As long as Cleveland can keep the game relatively close, Crowell should be in line for 20-plus touches and a nice fantasy day at a cheap price.

Dan Herron, RB IND

Herron ($6,400) has been listed in this space for each of the last two weeks and in limited touches, has looked pretty good. Last week against Washington he posted 96 total yards and a touchdown on just ten touches while Trent Richardson could only muster 12 yards on eight carries. Head coach Chuck Pagano raved about Herron early this week and word out of Indianapolis is that the Colts may give him more work on Sunday in Cleveland. If that happens, he could prove to be a steel at his price.

Frank Gore, RB SF

Gore ($5,700) is one of my favorite values of the week and will likely be in most of my tournament lineups this weekend. Although he’s been held in check over the last couple of weeks, he’s still getting a majority of the work in the San Francisco backfield and gets to take on the Raiders’ dreadful run defense in week 14.

One of the worst defenses in the league against tailbacks, Oakland is coming off a game where they allowed Tre Mason to absolutely gash them for 164 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. After getting their first win of the season a couple weeks ago, the Raiders may have checked out for the year and Gore is the next beneficiary.

Some contrarians will play Carlos Hyde ($5,000) because he’s looked good over the last few weeks and gotten some of the goal line looks and that may turn out to be a good play, but I’d rather go with the guy that’s in line for more carries.

Other options: Jeremy Hill ($7,300), Bishop Sankey ($5,400) and Jonathan Stewart ($5,200)

Wide Receiver

Kenny Stills, WR NO

With Stills’ ($6,400) price so low last week, he was highly owned in tournaments on FanDuel. Now that his price has risen a bit, his ownership numbers should drop a tad. He ripped the Steelers last week for 162 yards and a score on six targets but only played 25 snaps. With his numbers over the last couple weeks, he should be on the field more on Sunday against the Panthers’ secondary that has allowed 15 touchdowns to receivers this year. He’s an excellent choice as a WR3 once again this week.

Stedman Bailey, WR STL

Bailey ($6,300) is my favorite value at receiver this week. He started off red-hot against the Raiders on Sunday but once the Rams shot out to a big lead, they didn’t have to go back to him. Nonetheless, he still hauled in five passes for 100 yards (all in the first half) and led St. Louis in targets, catches and receiving yards for the second straight week.

This week, Bailey faces off with the Redskins’ secondary that is among the worst in the league against the deep ball, allowing 45 receptions of 20-plus yards, and has given up big touchdowns to Mike Evans, Anquan Boldin and Donte Moncrief (among others) in the last three weeks. Bailey is the best receiver in St. Louis and has the trust of his quarterback. He’s an excellent value this week.

Charles Johnson, WR MIN

Johnson ($6,000) was listed here last week and came away with just 41 yards on two grabs but nearly scored in the first quarter. Like Bailey, he wasn’t needed in the second half after the Vikings’ special teams scored two touchdowns to ground Minnesota’s attack. This week though, he takes on the Jets’ leaky pass defense. Charles is now a fulltime player for the Vikings and is a favorite of Teddy Bridgewater. He’s a good bet to come through with a big game against the Jets this week.

Marqise Lee, WR JAX

As a player who cashed in on the garbage time points that Cecil Shorts posted towards the end of last year, I’ve been looking for the same player to ride to FanDuel glory this season. Who knew I wouldn’t have to look outside of Jacksonville. I liked Lee ($5,700) to score last week and he came through. There’s no reason to think he can’t do the same again this week against the Texans. He’s the best target on the Jaguars’ roster and that’s not going to change. At his low price, he’s a value again this week.

Other Options: Andre Johnson ($6,600) for those looking to fade DeAndre Hopkins ($7,500), Michael Crabtree ($6,500), Robert Woods ($5,900) and Nick Toon ($5,000)

Tight End

Martellus Bennett, TE CHI

For those looking to go away from Rob Gronkowski ($7,700) or last week’s disappointment Jimmy Graham ($7,100), Bennett ($6,000) could be a good option. He faces his former team the Cowboys, at home this week and Dallas is giving up 66 receiving yards per game and allowed nine touchdowns to tight ends on the year. Bennett is coming off a 100-yard game on Thanksgiving and is a very good option for those playing the Thursday slate this week.

Travis Kelce, TE KC

The Cardinals have also struggled against the tight end this year, giving up 68 receiving yards per game on the season and three touchdowns over the last four weeks to the position. Kelce is still sharing snaps with Anthony Fasano ($5,200) but he’s the much better pass catcher. At some point he’s going to break through with a big game and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Sunday in Arizona.

Other options: Kyle Rudolph ($5,200)
