Before submitting a question, please take note of the following items which will help us help you:

1)  Keep things as brief as possible.  As you will notice, we get a LOT of questions.  The more you can narrow it down for us, the less we have to research.

2)  Scoring System – Let us know if your league is PPR, non-PPR or if there are any unusual scoring rules that would affect our advice.

3)  We always like to see what YOU are thinking on your question(s) first.  On those “toss-up” or “coin-flip” plays, as we call them, knowing which way you are leaning helps us.

4)  Go easy on us!  We strongly encourage each coach to make their own decision(s) but we’re here to help as much as possible.  We pride ourselves on our accuracy and research but our crystal balls aren’t perfect.

Let’s recap our week one performance a bit:

I was on Andrew Luck relatively heavily in week one and he responded with the the second best performance on Sunday, behind only Matt Ryan.  Peyton Manning, who is always an auto-start, finished as the QB3.  This year’s riser, Jay Cutler didn’t disappoint.

At the running back position, it was a horrific weak.  I was high on Baltimore’s Bernard Pierce for guaranteed touches. Instead, he puts the ball on the ground and gets the Bill Belichick treatment from John Harbaugh.  I don’t believe he touched the ball again.  Recommended against Doug Martin vs. a very good Carolina run defense and that paid off.  Now Martin owners have to hope that his injury isn’t serious.  I enthusiastically was recommended Shane Vereen and he cracked the top ten for all running backs.  I thought CJ2k was a good start and he finished as the RB5 on Sunday.   Ben Tate was spot recommended and he laid an egg and may have a serious knee injury.

At receiver, I was very high on names such as Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson.  Hunter performed well on the field but not on the fantasy sheet.  Patterson looked great as a running back and mediocre as a receiver.  I whiffed badly on Steve Smith who finished Sunday as the WR3.  Few could have called that one in my mind, kudos if you did.  Alshon Jeffery, Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas all had frustrating days.

Not much of note on the tight end front other than Julius Thomas had a ridiculous fantasy day and will be your week one MVP in most cases
