Woot, got the win last week. Gonna keep calling shots, though, this is fun.

CHI @ MIN: Brandon Marshall and Adrian Peterson combine for 300+ yards and 2+ TDs
DET @ GB: Green Bay finally starts to get its ground game rolling with 120+ rushing yards.
MIA @ SF: Tannehil struggles with the 49ers D, committing 2+ turnovers and failing to eclipse 225 yards.
HOU @ NE: To everyone’s surprise, the NE rushing attack shows up big and the committee of backs accounts for 200+ yards
NYJ @ JAC: One of the Landry brothers will create a turnover (Dawan or LaRon)
PHI @ TB: Doug Martin gets back on track with 120+ total yards and Bryce Browns continues to impress by cracking the 100+ mark against a tough TB front seven. It’s the rookie RB show.
KC @ CLE: Josh Gordon keeps his momentum going with another 85+ yard + TD day.

Trevor – I agree with you re/ the NE/HOU game. Just have this funny feeling that Belichik will take a look at how the HOU passing defense has gotten smoked by a few lesser QBs recently and says, “beating these guys through the air with Tom Terrific is too easy…let’s ram it down their throats in primetime!”

‘Cause that’s just how BB rolls. :)

  2. Matthew says:

Let’s throw some darts. One for each game:

STL @ BUF – CJ Spiller has more total yards than SJax & FJax, combined.
DAL @ CIN – Jason has an anti-Witten game: under 6 receptions (hasn’t happened since week 3) but one of those does go for a TD (has only one on the season, week 4).
KC & CLE – Jamaal Charles has a TD of over 50 yards.
TEN @ IND – Jake Locker has more passing yards than Andrew Luck.
CHI @ MIN – Matt Forte has more rushing yards than Adrian Peterson.
PHI @ TB – Bucs defense records 4+ sacks and 2+ turnovers.
BAL @ WAS – Alfred Morris is held to under 75 rush yards with no TDs.
ATL @ CAR – Cam Newton has 25+ completions for the first time this season (and only third time in his 28-game career).
NYJ @ JAX – Marcedes Lewis has as many TD receptions as Chad Henne has TD passes.
SD @ PIT – Antonio Brown finds paydirt for the first time since week 3.
MIA @ SF – Davone Bess rebounds with 6+ receptions against a tough SF defense.
ARI @ SEA – Larry Fitz has 5+ receptions and finds the end zone despite being shadowed by the Shermanator.
NO @ NYG – Lawrence Tynes kicks 4+ field goals (incredibly would be the 5th time that’s happened this year), as Eli & co move the ball easily but bog down in the RZ.
DET @ GB – What should be a fantasy bonanza game on Sunday Night Football turns out to be more like a Thursday nighter – total points scored are 40 or less (current over/under is 49).
HOU @ NE – Steven Ridley has more rushing yards than Arian Foster.

  3. Robb Hurst says:

KC vs Cle – Greg Little is the CLE wr to own with over 100 yrd receiving and 1 touchdown!

HELP!!! Fantasy Playoff Stress…..C.J.Spiller or Demarco Murray? I have Murray penciled in now, but I hate leaving Spiller on bench….????? HELP

    • Matthew says:

I’m a big fan of that Cincy D-line and I think they can absolutely man-handle the Dallas O-line. Murray could be getting hit in the backfield quite a bit.

That being said, forecast is again for rainy/breezy conditions in Buffalo and Chan Gailey specifically said after last week’s slop fest that the conditions led him to run FJax more often than he would have had there been no influence from Mother Nature. Will that hold true again this week? Not sure. For what it’s worth, the forecast in Cincy is no better. Sloppy track for both games.

If I were the Bills coaches I’d be installing a very run-heavy game plan. Bad weather, a weak-armed QB, injuries on the line for pass pro, a gimpy Stevie, no legit 2nd receiving option, and a couple of good corners for STL (Jenkins/Finnegan)…that all screams 40 rushing attempts to me.

      I’d lean Spiller…but it’s close. Good luck.

  5. Doug Dischler says:

STL@BUF – Givens finally comes back to earth, less than 75 yards and no scores.
DAL@CIN – Awful game for the Cowladies, and a big game for Dalton. Over 300, with 2 scores.
KC@CLE – The only things worth watching this for are Charles and TRich. TRich takes the crown, with more yards than Charles, and more TD’s.
TEN@IND – 2 Indy WR’s with over 100, and a score. Its tricky, but I’ll take Wayne’s World and Hilton Head.
CHI@MN – Study the Marshall Plan. Brandon goes for more yards receiving than Ponder throws.
TAM@PHI – All hail the Muscle Hamster….over 200 combined, and at least 1 score.
BLT@WSH – Battle of the Beltway with RGIII showing some Big 12 Heisman love. Over 250 passing, 75 rushing, and 2 total scores.
ATL@CAR – Another duo over 100 yards receiving each…Julio and Roddy, with 1 score each.
NYJ@JAC – Yaaawwwnn….less than 500 yards combined offense in this snoozer.
    SAN@PIT – Look kids….Big Ben! Over 300 yards and 3 scores. Look kids….Big Ben!
Miami @SanF – Gore goes against a tough rush defense but comes up big. Over 125 on the ground, and a score.
AZ@SEA – We love you Wilson!!! Over 250 in the air, another 50 on the ground, and 2 scores. Look kids….Big Ben!
NEO@NYG – Giants loosens their grip on the NFC LEast even further, with Brees getting on track with 3 TD passes.
DET@GB- Mega meets his Optimus Prime….bracket coverage all day with no threat on the other side. Less than 50 receiving, but a TD.
HOU@NEW – Big Monday nighter, with the up and comers taking on the old guard in the AFC. Brady and Co hold the crown a big longer, with the story…of a man named Brady going for almost 300, and 2 scores.

    Finally…look kids….Big Ben!!

  6. FranknBeans says:

    Better late than never…

AJohnson and Foster combine for at least 3 TD’s

Dwyer goes over 100 with a TD

Dalton has more passing TD’s than Romo

Mike Williams over 100 yards and at least one score

    RGIII outscores Joe Flacco

Ray Rice rolls for 150+ total yards
