Giovani Bernard is the best RB in next year’s draft.
You’re absolutely correct that Montee Ball is mediocre in the NFL. But you’re missing the boat on the dynamic runner at UNC-CH: Giovani Bernard. He was a top 10 recruit out of high school. He’s great on special teams and good-to-great catching the ball out of the backfield. Plus, he’s got incredible burst and runs decisively.
I like Bernard, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t think he’s special. He would be my bet to be 1st RB off the board as of now, only one I can conceive of as sneaking into the 1st round of the NFL Draft.
