Hi guys, really need some waiver advice for my 22 keeper 1/2 PPR dynasty league for that last week of waivers. How would you rank these players? Thanks!

    Kyle Rudolph (currently own)
    Jared Cook
    Alex Green
    Matt Flynn
    Mikel LeShoure

    • Flynn
      Rudolph
      Cook
      Leshoure
      Green

Flynn needs to be owned in all dynasty formats now.

Jeff, I forgot to add Rashad Jennings. Where would he be in that group of players? Thanks so much. Happy Holidays to you guys.

        • If you need RB, I’d put Jennings just after Flynn. Jennings will be on my list for guys to add asap if he’s still available. Because he was put on IR, many have forgotten about him.

    Hello,

Championship game PPR, please pick one for each position :

      Gerhart and Brown.

Gerhart has been solid and has no real backup. Jones could be rested and Vjax isn’t likely to play. Cobb could be a good start but in PPR, Brown is a good option and Steelers still have something to play for.

Just trying to think which players will be bench/limited this week. The only teams that realistically should be limiting their players would be the Packers and Texans as their seeds are determined. Am I correct or am I missing something?

    • DLF_Jeff says:

Generally correct … see my week 17 blog for a better breakdown. Teams that are out of it too can sometimes not risk injury to some of their more injury prone players. I think this is why Donald Brown isn’t getting many snaps. Teams don’t want their star players (Adrian Peterson) to blow a knee with nothing to play for … and then jeopardize the next season.

But that is just too difficult to call.

  5. Nightmarion says:

Essentially what I’m looking at is picking two of Foster (probably going to be limited), Reggie Bush, Beanie Wells and Shonn Greene

      Oops … accidentally gave you a -1 vote. :)

Unfortunately, you have to play Bush and Greene.

I picked up Kevin Smith who for some reason was on the WW. I’m assuming he should be plugged in ahead of Greene?

        • Personally, I’d leave Greene in there. He plays Miami which is a better matchup than in GB today where it’s going to be near freezing. I don’t think they are going to feature Smith too heavily in the cold coming back from the injury.

All things being equal though, I’d play Smith over Greene, but not today.

    • RB: Mathews, Bradshaw

A bit of a tough choice but Bush is a bit banged up and Benson plays vs. BAL. Bradshaw is playing to make the playoffs and Mathews is playing a soft OAK D. Watch any injury news on Mathews but he looks okay as of now.

      WR: Jones, Crabtree

A lot of risk here but they should both play a fair amount and you don’t have many other options.

      FX: Bush

Bush if he’s playing, watch the news. If not, Benson

TE: Toss up but I’d play Hernandez this week. I have a feeling Brady is going to really try and light it up.

      D: NE

      Good luck

I’m sorry, I wrote D. Nelson (is available). I meant to put D. Moore with Oakland is available. Would you start him over Julio Jones or M. Crabtree?

        Thanks for you recommendations!

Struggling with TE this week since J. Finley may not play.

    TE
    J. Finley
    J. Cook (is available)
    J. Gresham (is available)

    Thanks.

    • Can’t play Finley. Gresham has been good but has a tough matchup. I’d play Cook who is very hot right now and will want to finish well.

    Championship game

    PPR

    Stafford or…Orton?

Beanie or Tate, Ridley, or Ivory

    Pick 2:
Marshall, Crabtree, A Brown, D Moore

    Thanks!!

    • Go with what got you there at QB, Stafford.

We haven’t heard much out of HOU about who plays. You probably have to play Wells. He’s banged up but has still had 15+ rushes the last few weeks. I’d like to play Tate there with Foster likely sitting, but unless HOU says Tate is starting today … it’s too risky. Ivory just can’t be ranked ahead of Ridley or Wells.

I don’t know if this is PPR or not and it matters here for WR. Marshall is a lock either way. I’d likely risk a start of Moore today, I think he could have a nice game. It’s a toss up really between Crabtree, Brown and Moore but I’d play Moore.

    • Just saw that Foster is inactive. I’d roll the dice here and start Tate.

        Thanks Jeff.

Took your advice and started Stafford even though everyone was wringing their hands over him maybe playing a half and the miserable weather, and it obviously paid off.

Went w Tate who gave me a nice 1-2 punch w R. Rice.

Started Nicks, Marshall and Brown at WR. Left Crabtree on the bench unfortunately, but still scored 198 overall and won easily. Thanks again for all the content this season and the help!
