Big Ben or Jake Locker. And a TE in case Jimmy isn’t a full go – Keller or Gresham. Thanks

I think you’re starting Big Ben over Jake Locker. If Jimmy isnt a full go I’d rather start Gresham againsts Rams Secondary than Keller against Phillies.

    • You can’t sit Ben if he’s starting. He looks doubtful to me though and I do like Locker’s matchup.

Jimmy will be good to go this week, mark my words. If not however, I’d go with Keller.

    I’ll get things started

    Cam Newton or Matt Ryan?

Frank Gore or Eric Decker? (Demaryius and Santana both on waivers)

    Jimmy Graham or Antonio Gates?

    Bengals D/ST or Packers D/ST?

    Thanks

    • You can’t sit Cam right now, he’s playing lights out. He has a tough match-up vs. HOU, but I wouldn’t sit him for Ryan.

Playing any DEN receiver is a crap shoot. NE is terrible vs. the pass but you just can’t count on Tebow. I’m nervous about Gore this week and he has a terrible match-up. I almost expect Hunter to start this week. If Gore starts, I’d likely start him but I wouldn’t yell if you started Decker. I’d lean Gore still.

Have to start Graham if he’s starting, and he will.

      Packer’s D vs. a very suspect offense.

This team is going against an undefeated juggernaut team, so I need to go high ceiling over high floor..

    Pick one
    Matt Ryan Jax
    Vick Jets

    Pick one:
    Maclin Jets
    DeMary Patriots
    Little @ arizona

Another team, team are evenly matched..

    Pick One:

    Julio Jax
    Tampa Mike Dallas
    Antonio brown @ san fran

I’d Start Ryan. With those two, that’s not where your high ceiling will come from. You want points.

DeMary – Yuck, but he’s your best shot this week.

Gotta stick with Brown … he’s been bringing it every week.

    WR- Pick 2
Robinson @ TB (allows 18th most to WR)
Bowe vs GB (allows 4th most to WR)
Marshall @ Buf (allows 16th most to WR)

    RB-Pick 1
Gore vs Pit (allows 27th most to RB, but hard to bench)
Tate vs Car, I also have Foster if that matters (allows MOST to RB)

Similar curiosity about Dez this week. I’m guessing he’s not going to be quiet 2 weeks in a row.

Should I trade Jamaal Charles away for Dez? Looking for playoff and long term bump for my hurting receiving corps. I could keep either for life. The numbers on RB’s post ACL aren’t great, but he got hurt pretty early in the season, so solid rehab time.

Make sure your RBs are okay though before trading away charles and this trade is also assuming PPR. If no PPR I wouldn’t trade Charles away without other compensation.

I have a ton of WRs to choose from this week and I can’t afford to sit the wrong ones (I sat Julio Jones and Laurent Robinson in favor of VJax and Santana Moss and nearly lost my matchup, managed to squeeze a win 100-97)…there’s a ton of money on the line in my fantasy league so I don’t want that to happen again, so I’ve been asking around for advice for this week…which two do you think should I go with out of:
    VJax vs. Ravens
    Santana Moss vs. NYG

You can’t start Thomas or Moore either because they’re too risky, you don’t know what you’ll get week to week. They could do well, but it’s a crap shoot.

It’s down to Jones vs. Robinson vs. Moss. With Austin back in big D, Robinson is a bit of a crap shoot. I’d stick with safer plays:

      Moss and Jones.

If Jones scares you a bit, I’d go with Robinson against that bad TB “D”. Here’s how I rank them this week:

I hate trading away young backs for one dimensional backs like Greene for a single year, but I also like rings on my fingers. If you can do it, it’s not a horrible play.

Freeman, Grossman, Moore, Locker(if he starts)? I have a feeling TN is going to run the ball more if Locker starts… I’m leaning towards Grossman and Freeman.

Other question is if ryan grant starts and Green Bay goes big early do you think they’ll pull out rodgers and let him run more? I have that same feeling with felix jones/tony romo.

Congrats on a great first year. AP is back. I need him this week as well.

Freeman and Grossman are your likely starters. They are both up against poor pass defenses. I do like Locker’s chances this week and think he will score well but I’d play it safe in your situation with starting two QBs. I might be willin to risk Locker if you had a stud at QB.

Grant will start this week and I JUST swapped out Julio Jones to play Grant because I want the guaranteed touches. They could pull Rodgers but it wouldn’t be before the 4th quarter and I have every expectation that GB will be playing Rodgers all the way through the end of the season and only pulling him if they are well ahead in the 4th quarter. Grant should be solid this week for 12-15 rushing attempts and at least 3 receptions.

For the record, I do like Felix Jones this week as well.

Bryant is your best TD source in Dallas but I think Austin is just as good this week and should get more yardage. Jones is a possible play but he’s too streaky for me right now. Brown will likely have Charlie Batch throwing to him.

Mathews has been running well but I’d start Mendy this week. He’s going to get a lot of touches and bigger backs do better vs. BAL. I think Tolbert will get more carries but I still expect Mathews to have a fair game. I’d go wit the guaranteed touches of Mendy.

I’d also go with Crosby. I just don’t think that SF’s offense really matches up with PIT’s D and I wouldn’t be surprised if Akers doesn’t get many chances. Crosby should get you at least 8 this week.

Due to a ridiculous series of crippling qb injuries, i’m looking at the following options for my 2nd qb in the finals (fairly standard scoring):

    TJ Yates
    Christian Ponder
    Sexy Rexy
    Tarvaris Jackson

Thoughts on who to roll with?

I’d take TJ Yates out of the group. Carolina’s defense isn’t scaring anyone and the other options all carry risk themselves.

Lynch (even against CHI), Fitzgerald, Green and Calvin are all automatics, so you really just need to decide between Torrey Smith and Mike Williams. I’ll take Williams in a PPR league and Smith in a non.

Well, as I stated above, I think Lynch and Fitzgerald are automatics. In a non-PPR, I rank them Lynch, Fitz and Williams in that order..flip flop Fitzgerald and Lynch in a PPR league.

Gotta stick with Wallace. Robinson has been great, but that’s kind of a crapshoot with Austin back. He played the fewest snaps of the three WRs last week.

PPR league, scoring allowed for punt (0.1 pt/yd) and KO (0.04/yard) return yardage:

Need to pick three of these:
    S Greene
    A Peterson
    D Sproles
    B Wells
    K Smith

Because of the return yardage, Sproles is my top RB this year by 2 pts/game, so he has been basically an automatic starter this year. The rest have been a guessing game the last few weeks due to injuries.

Thanks guys and I love your site.

Peyton Hillis against an Arizona run defense that has been rather stout over the past few weeks or Kevin Smith coming off of his injury?

I don’t trust anything on the Browns, but this is a tough one. I’d probably roll the dice on Smith since their offense is more dynamic.

Non PPR…. 1 pt for every 20 yds rushing or receiving… 6 pts for every td… need to choose 1 RB from the following

    Donald Brown
John Kuhn (he does get the goallines usually)
    Chris Ivory

Please let me know your opinions

So, I have a WR predicament. Im actually pretty stacked, but hey, you can never be too cautious. So, here’s my choices

    Wes Welker
    Marques Colston
    Hakeem Nicks
    Steve Smith (Panthers)
    Demaryius Thomas

      Nicks
      Smith

…in that order. At least for me. You can flip flop Smith and Colston and still be okay in all likelihood.

2 leagues 2 RB dilemmas both non ppr .

Need 3 from Helu, Wells, Reggie Bush, and AP

Then the next league 2 from McGahee, Steven Jackson, and Kevin Smith .

Got flex position dilemma. I need 2 guys in a 1PPR league. My opponent averages 25 pts a week more than me.

    Pick 2:
    Damian Williams v. Colts D
    Wayne v. Titans
    S. Greene v. Eagles
    Tate v. Panthers
    Maclin v. Jets

Currently I have S. Greene and D. Williams in along w/ Mcgahee. Should I leave it this way?

By the way, love the work you guys do here. Thanks.

You need to go big then, you don’t want time shares or under performance on a weekly basis.

I think you have to go with Greene and Wayne. If Maclin is definitely playing you can go Maclin v. Jets over Greene as Revis will be on DeSean Jackson.
