It’s an extremely busy week for me this as I’ll be out of the fold from Friday through Sunday. Rather than bore you with NFL news that you are likely already aware of, we’ll jump straight to the lineup questions.
I’ll be checking in as often as I can to make sure we get them answered for you! I’ll also be turning the blog in more of a draft direction as we move forward while still trying to give you insightful lineup and/or match-up considerations heading into the fantasy playoff weeks.

I’d start Stevie. Sorry for the late response after Cooper already played. Ballard has the edge right now but Lewis is VERY close
I’m struggling with DMC out and need to use either K. Williams, J. Battle, T. Choice or B. Scott, (rough I know). Who do you think is a better start?
Battle. He’s the only one certain to get touches.

Tough choice with no PPR. No PPR means I probably roll with BJGE against a terrible run D. After that it’s a toss up but I like Johnson’s matchup and possibility of getting into the end zone.
So many recievers in deep, deep PPR league.
Calvin Johnson is a shoo-in.
Pick 2: Harvin, Marshall, Jacoby Jones, James Jones, Jordy Nelson (so really, Harvin, Marshall, Nelson – which 2?)
A complete toss up between the three. I’d go with the hottest hands of late and that is Nelson and Harvin. Both face week Pass D’s too.
Do you think doug baldwin is worth a shot tonight. Looks to be the number1 with rice out? Or I have austin, little, or lance moore?

I’d go with Stafford this week. Both have been a little quirky but that HOU secondary is very good.

I started Lynch on Thursday night football, so here are my options left – and I still need to choose 3: Jonathan Stewart, Beanie Wells, LeGarrett Blount, Vincent Jackson, Brandon Marshall, and Dwayne Bowe. I’m leaning towards BMarsh, Blount and it’s a toss up between Vjack and Beanie. What do you think? Thanks!
Thank God you started Lynch. Sorry for late reply. Yes you had to start him tonight. Marshall, Blount and Jackson. Wells is just too inconsistent, not that VJax hasn’t been, but PPR gets the nod.

Crazy but Robinson is too hot not to start. Wayne #2 if you aren’t feeling Robinson.
I need and win and need to score some points. I’ll be starting Nicks and Cruz hoping for a shootout. Would you start Dez or Jory Nelson for your third? I’m thinking Jordy cause he has shown that when he puts up numbers they are normally big numbers. Thanks
If you need to score bit points, I think you roll with Nelson. Bryant isn’t a big scoring threat.
In a PPR league, do I start Mendy or JStew??
I really want to start JStew but you have to go with the guaranteed touches of Mendy in a big divisional game.
Could really use some help this week. I’m in the playoffs but could grab a bye, so upside is more important than consistency for this week. I’m planning to start Gore, Fitz and Colston but I need a #2 RB and flex out of this group. No ppr, what do you think? Thanks.

You have to start Benson over Hunter. Not a great matchup though.
I’d also start MWTB vs. CAR. He’s starting to turn it up.

I’d go with Turner or Williams. Turner will get all the touches but Carolina plays a bad TB defense. I’d still start Turner but I am starting DWill in one league.
I have a trade question. Currently I am in 4th place overall and tied for first place in head-to-head record. The person I would be trading with is ahead of me in 2nd place. The trade is me getting A.Hernandez, R.Torain, 2012 1st rounder (end of 1st), and a 2012 3rd rounder (should be middle of 3rd). I am trading away P.Hillis, J.Cook, and my 2012 4th(end of 4th). It is a 12 team each team keeps 10 players league. non ppr.

Yep … I’d do that. I’m not a Hillis fan and Cook is not producing consistently.

Glad we helped but our advice is not responsible, it’s your drafting and overall team. But I’m glad we could help for sure. I’d start Robinson and VJax in a non-PPR. So we’re on the same page.
Win and im in playoff scenario this week and i can’t decide if i should start a qb or leave the slot blank. Big penalties for sacks, in-completions, int, or fumbles. 1-10 yards and 6-TD. My only option is Caleb Hanie and last week he got negative 1.60 points. Should I play him or bench him?
He’s at home against a mediocre defense. I can’t leave a slot blank and always believe in playing the spot unless he’s the last player to play and it’s a close game.
Play him and pray.

Thanks a lot…. For sure I will let you know. I had the top 3, but Knox instead of Moore… I’m glad I asked, because as a Chicago Bears fan I was thinking of playing Knox. I usually have to try to seperate my Bears heart from my fantasy brain!

I think you can play Stewart this week vs a bad TB run D. I’m playing him in one league. If you start Smith, you just don’t know if he finishes. I’d go with Stewart.

That’s tough … I’d probably stick with Romo unless you felt like you needed a big big game and are willing to risk a bad game. Romo is just more “safe”

I hope you went with Newton. At this point, Newton is an every week starter now. Fantasy wise, he’s just unstoppable. I keep expecting Newton to come back to earth but he’s not.
I need to fill my last flex spot (1 pts for 5 yards rushing and 1 pts for 10 years receiving with PPR), so running backs get some extra value.

Those are four very even WRs this week. AJ with TJ Yates throwing to him isn’t exciting to me. If this is a PPR league, I’d probably play Antonio Brown over him. But I have no problem with Nelson and Johnson going.

Do you see Dion Lewis having any dynasty value now? I thought we might see him last week with McCoy hurting some, but it turned out McCoy got a full workload and Brown got 2 carries with Lewis none.
Value? Yes. Much? No. Worth a stash in deeper leagues or handcuff to McCoy just in case.
